  1. If I want to know possibly available excursions, I open a separate window and enter: https://www.ncl.com/shore-excursionshttps://www.ncl.com/shore-excursions (use sort features). From there I am able to select various ports and see all excursions that might be available. A call to the Shore Excursion department will get me further information on availability (at the time of my call). There are times when I've been told to call back (closer to the cruise). OR, check with the ShorEx onboard the ship. By calling, or checking onboard, I have been able to add an afternoon excursion (must have at least an hour+ between 1st and 2nd excursions).
  2. Shore Excursions can, and often do, sell out pre-cruise!
  3. For your needs, any stateroom on the NCL site that has a symbol Wheelchair Accessible. There are a few Oceanview rooms on deck 5, assorted room categories on deck 9-15, and in The Haven on decks 17 & 18. However, while almost all have a chair or couch, of some sort, I don't know that any are "Easy Chairs."
  4. Last month on the Bliss there was a Celerity Chef onboard. Upon embarkation, we found out that despite the fact we had booked our reservations at 125 days, we had to scramble (two separate times) to get new reservations made. It was frustrating, but with some compromising on the part of NCL, and us, we did get new (acceptable) reservations.
  5. We generally get up EARLY, so we are able to get into the line for tender boats as early as possible. However, depending on the ship, they might handle things differently. If I were you, I would ask at the ShorEx desk (the day before, or earlier) what they recommend to maximize your day.
  6. Good questions! Answer depend on which bar and when. If you are at the pool bar, you will get plastic! Inside bars use glass glasses (almost always). Beers might be on tap, so you'd get a glass. If in a can you may request a glass (or plastic cup).
  7. Gold & Platinum receive one 1/2 liter carton per person. Sapphire (and above) receive two 1/2 liter cartons per person. *** MUST have above status to receive the water. If additional people in the room have status, water "should be" provided for them as well, at their current staus level!
  8. We have received the 1/2 liter cartons on our 4 cruises in 2022 and 2023.
  9. If you want just a single (basic) paper cup AT Starbucks, it will cost about $5.00 with the 20% NCL charges tagged on. Prices go up from there. You can order Starbucks in assorted restaurants onboard starting at $3.25 (+20%). There have been photos of Starbucks menus posted, but I didn't find the one I was looking when doing a quick search a few minutes ago.
  10. Yup, I know what you mean ...same here! But over the years I've adapted. And, I always pack my "Seabands!"
  11. More likely to feel motion forward than mid. But, 5 decks higher mid-ship may, or may not, be "as" noticeable for you. Patches, pills, pressure point wrist bands, ginger ale, &/or green apples are all helpful for many people!
  12. You would benefit from being on a lower deck and mid ship for least likely motion.
  13. NCL refers to this class of ship as Jewel Class, with Jewel (2005) being first and Gem (2007) last. https://www.ncl.com/newsroom/our-fleet
  14. Above link might offer you some options/information.
  15. Hubby and I did this Itinerary on the Bliss a month ago, and 14 years ago. We've enjoyed the cruises and the ports. However, we truly enjoy our Caribbean cruises better, because (for the most part) the water and the ports seem cleaner.
  16. Just a thought... Are you by any chance traveling solo? SPF "might" equate to Solo (Single) Passenger Fare.
  17. Your results might be "hit or miss." But, yes possibly, NCL will be charging for the kiddos drinks.
  18. Your shore excursion tickets ARE your priority tickets. Only going as early as possible gives you the best opportunity to maximize your day on GSC. If you happen to be in the Haven, you can be escorted to the security line to board next available tender. By the way, did you book a Villa, or, a cabana? Cabanas are on the main beach, not nearly as nice, and will not receive the same type of overall perks, as the Villas at Silver Cove receive! * Latitudes status might, or might not, be noticed for either situation, with the exception of ShorEx discounts. *
  19. Now you have me curious. Sadly, we aren't cruising for awhile!
  20. That's the spirit! 😜 In all honesty, I have not tried every drink on the list. But, I have tried my fair share. I keep getting pulled back to my favorite dozen or so!☺️
  21. Balcony (or above) may bid on Suites/Haven Suites. Yes, it still can be costly! But, do keep in mind the cost is only 2x the bid, so if you have 3 or 4 passengers, they do not have added expense for the bid.
