  1. You only received Priority security check-in if you have some sort of status that is listed on your cruise documents. Being in a Suite or a Haven Suite qualifies! If you have PRIORITY on your document, look for the "Haven" sign, or ask one of the port workers, who should point you in the correct direction.
  2. On the Jewel, the sizes of Balcony rooms range from 200-289 SF w/balconies of 38'-54'. They are on decks 8,9,10. Club Balcony Suites are only on deck 11, noisier from above, 272-416 SF (or 272-285 SF - for wheel chair accessible) with 54' balconies. Here is the link to the floor plans: https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/jewel/deck-plans (change decks as needed)
  3. NCL's OBC is only useable while onboard the ship (for which it was purchased or given).
  4. Well, you got me curious! I checked dailies that I have still (only as far back as January 2014) and found no evidence of that being the case. Perhaps, prior to 2014?!!!
  5. If you want to utilized the Spa, Yes, you would need to purchase a Spa Pass. Sometimes, they offer Day Passes to the Spa (but possibly not at all). I would decide between the two different passes depending on the season and the itinerary. On a cold season/itinerary, I would only purchase the Spa Pass. On a port intensive itinerary, I would not bother with either, unless you are staying on the ship during ports of call.
  6. I always use NCL's site to explore their ships: (I bookmark that ship, so I can easily return quickly for further research.) https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship Then I narrow my search by the appropriate ship: https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/jewel#!#highlights Then I use the "what's on board": https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/jewel#!#whats-on-board If I still want "a better picture" of something, I perform "YouTube" video searches and usually find what I want to know. Also, there is a "Search" function (upper right hand side of this page). If you type in Jewel, you might find some threads with exactly the info you want. Have fun with your research!
  7. All NCL FCC have been issued with term limits. If you didn't utilize the FCC within those limits, NCL has committed no fraudulent practices.
  8. Laura, Perhaps you can find specific information about your room (or nearby) in the thread. Scroll down page 25, post # 601, since there is a breakdown of where to further search certain rooms! Best wishes!
  9. You each could get different times! My husband and I checked-in at the same time, but I went back to change one piece of info, and it changed mine to a later time. My time wasn't questioned at the port, however, not every port does things the same way, and you "might" get some push-back (or not).
  10. Are you using a TA or NCL? If NCL, look for information that looks like this, after the "REMIT TO:" * LATREW promo code, is automatically applied to Latitude members' reservations. This code gives Latitude members their specific tier level discounts/benefits onboard. This promo code does not provide any Latitude points. Reduced Deposit promotions do not apply to Concierge, Suites and Haven categories. For an upgrade into a Concierge, Suite or Haven, full deposit is due immediately. Add-ons 1 x Shore Excursion Discount 2 x Prepaid Service Charge for Suites & The Haven 1 x Military Appreciation 2 x 2 Meal Specialty Dining Package 2 x Internet Package (150 Minutes) 2 x UNLIMITED OPEN BAR PACKAGE Full promotional terms and conditions can be reviewed at https://www.ncl.com/termsandconditions/promotions.
  11. It certainly seems like the NCL system is having glitches today. Hopefully all is sorted-out correctly soon! You could call, or use the chat feature, if you wish to have someone at NCL verify!
  12. If you booked your cruise during the right promotion period, you should receive jugs of water in the room. (It was during a specific time period Fall 2022). If you purchased the Free at Sea Plus Beverage Package, you may ask for "Flow" water jugs, or bottles of San Pellegrino sparkling water (in glass so not good for excursions). Also included in the Premium Plus • Sodas and Premium bottled water • Fresh juices • Energy drinks and BioSteel sports drink selections.
  13. Yes! Go as soon as you get onboard. Ask, if you need to, which place is taking care of Restaurant Reservations.
  14. No! When you complete the bidding process, you acknowledge that you have read, and agree to, the Terms and Conditions.
  15. I hope your posting issues clear-up soon. I've been (until now) trying to silently follow your travel. Enjoy your trip!!!
  16. You can find current Freestyle Dailies HERE: LIVE ALASKA NCL BLISS 04-22-2023 to 04-29-2023 Thanks to @graphicguy!!!
  17. Currently, you are only allowed to enter all of our Check-In information at Midnight E.S.T. 21 days prior to your embarkation. If you are not in the Haven/Suites, and have no "Priority Status" then at 120 days you may log into your account and make Restaurant reservations. (Suites/Haven can do this at 130 days!)
  18. It does seem to be a variable policy. We like to "dot our I's and cross our T's, so we just make sure we check-out and check-in towels when we use them.
  19. You will be able to check out towels, either on the ship, or just off the ship. Be certain to return them!
  20. Actually, it depends on the restaurant at dinner time! Long pants are required at many of the restaurants for dinner hours.
  21. Go to this current post for more information:
  22. The Sculpture Park is approximately 1/4 of Deck 8, Starboard, Mid. Attached are some photos my DH (retired bronze sculpture) took last November while onboard PRIMA. You can tell how large they are by comparing the windows and doors in the background. (The wooden "wavey wall" might be on the Port side of the ship (I just don't remember).
  23. The Lagoon Villa is a great place to relax and enjoy a more peaceful area of GSC, without the crowds and with less noise. My husband loves to fish, and he loves to snorkel. But he didn't even try to do either while we were enjoying our Villa. However, trying to do either of those things requires one to leave the confines of Silver Cove. Yes, there is a "snorkel park" off the shore of the main beach (just after the tendering area). It's pleasant, but not "great"! A fishing excursion "might" be offered, but I don't remember seeing any.
