  1. Not everybody is eligible for bidding, but if you are, there should be a "Let's Get You Upgraded" message when you are signed-in to your account and open that booking.
  2. Check-In is 21 days prior to Cruise (available to do at 12:01 AM EST). If you are going to be the person doing the check-in for everyone, yes you can do each check-in. However, you will need a recent photo (Similar to a passport photo, with white background, NO glasses on, Head-shot). Yes, one credit card for the cabin, but you select that option during the check-in &/or at the pier.
  3. @ERNLYN Most likely, since you did not list your flight/airfare as a question in your original post, most people would not have assumed that you took that perk. Unfortunately, NCL does not give "simple" information. But, all of the Terms and Conditions are available on their homepage with the assorted cruise deals. https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions
  4. I'd caution you to lower your expectations a bit! You can select most beverages, but, "regardless of cost" is not correct!
  5. Welcome to Cruising and Cruise Critic. To be able to answer your questions, we would need to know if you received Refundable or Non-Refundable Onboard Credit. When NCL gives OBC as a promo item, it is non-refundable! However, if you used a travel agency, you would need to inquire with that person/agency if the credit is Refundable or Non-refundable. Non-Refundable OBC can only be used to purchase goods and services once onboard the ship, but cannot be used for Daily Service Charges! Non-refundable can be used for food and beverages and most onboard activities. And to answer your question about does it automatically come off, Yes! Generally speaking, the Non-Refundable OBC will be applied to most things onboard, first, then any Refundable OBC, and then your form of payment onboard. Hopefully, this information helps answer your questions.
  6. from https://www.seatradecruiseglobal.com/en/Trade-Show/why-attend.html Join the international cruise industry to ride the waves of innovation shaping the future of cruising, only at Seatrade Cruise Global on 27-30 March in Fort Lauderdale.
  7. Are you on a 3 or 4 day day cruise? If your cruise is longer, you would need to upgrade your package with the 150 minutes used as a credit towards total cost.
  8. Spring Break "should" end with Easter Sunday.
  9. The port employees might have something to say about the arrival times. But, we haven't had any problems when we've a little ahead of our check-in slots. With that said, if I were you I might gage the decision on arrival time depending on weather conditions (rain, heat, cold) could be intolerable conditions for extended periods outside. Once inside the terminal and past security check-in, the embarkation is determined by room type, status, or boarding number given at Check-In. Based on your assorted check-in times, I'd go as a group at whichever feels more comfortable for your group. Hopefully, it all goes smoothly for your family!!!
  10. They have been giving only CASH refunds prior to disembarkation (stopping people at their final card scan, in order to "CASH OUT." (Many posts about this taking. Also, happened to us in January.)
  11. I hope you are able to get what you believe! However, over this past year, when any of our pre-booked excursions got cancelled while onboard, the funds went directly into our Onboard Credit accounts (not back to our credit card). Has happened on multiple cruises. 😏
  12. Your assessment is correct. Although, it isn't just a Florida problem, nor just a Spring Break problem. Watch the news for just about any major city! πŸ€”
  13. @CTCruiser001 Thank you for sharing your cruise with us. Great pictures and some very humorous posts! Wishing you and @MrsCTCruiser001 the very best towards your weight loss goals!!!
  14. Not everybody gets the offer. Have you logged into your account lately? Have you looked for "Upgrade Offer" emails (which looks like below:) From: Norwegian Communications Center Subject: Let’s Get You Upgraded
  15. That's a shame. I'm sorry that you haven't been able to get the information you want.
  16. Perhaps using this link will answer your questions: https://www.ncl.com/group-cruises
  17. The Ocean Villa is closer to the main part of the Island. The Lagoon Villa is the furthest from the ship and closest to the Villa amenities (restaurant, bar, etc.). I'm sorry, neither of us can say for certain if there is a hairdryer in the bathroom (picture DH took doesn't encompass the entire room).
  18. Great suggestion (brilliant thinking)! Thank you!!!
  19. Forgot to mention the Fill a Bag laundry deal for $29 that NCL offers a few days into the cruise. Look for that information approximately day 3 (or ask room steward).
  20. Is "ficky" =/> a)Fickle, b)Funky, c) Picky, d) Yup, all three of those ... OR, e) huh? πŸ˜‰
