Can someone clearly explain to me this New Speed Regulation is? and what effect it has on some ships and not on others? I thought all their cruise ships can travel at pretty close to all the same speeds?

Not canceled, just your ship has been redeployed, you will also be assigned another ship for your sailing. You will get another similar category Cabin you had on Brilliance for the same price you are all ready paying. (Price Protected). Believe your new ship is Enchantment.

Royal doesn't care one iota what people on Cruise Critic think or say. Cruise Critic has zero effect on how Royal runs their cruise line.

Thanks for your report. Makes perfect sense. Back then all Royals ships were not in service plus they were sailing only at 50 to 70 percent full of passengers. Now that all the ships are in service, and with what crew they have spread even thinner with all the ships sailing with at or near 100 percent full of passengers. They don't have enough crew on all their ships now to correctly service the My Time Dining at this time. Once they get all their ships with 100 percent crew back then My Time Dining will be successful again. Until then it will suffer.

So 45 minutes dining for the kids and then the parents stay longer for coffee and dessert..............Don't seem like that would work to well with young children like 3 to 10 years old............What do they do just get up and roam around the ship while their parents are finishing their dinner. Think the Windjammer would be a better option for the young kids. Go there and have the kids eat, after they finish eating take the kids to the kids club and then the parents go to late seating for dinner.

Here is a few pictures of a Hibiscus Plant we bought last year, It had about 4 flowers on it last year. This year it has over 100 buds, amazing how much larger it got.

Never seen it on any booking engine for a Royal Cruise before, it's either Early, Late or My Time Dining. Have never seen Family anywhere when choosing your Dining. What time is Family Dining, do you get in the same line as My Time Dining?

Don't need recent experience, I able to read recent reviews just like you are, Try it. Don't think in my opinion it will get any better any time soon until they fully staff all their ships. I assume you know how that is going since YOU have been on cruises recently.

What is family time dining? If you mean My Time Dining, which hasn't been working very well on their ships now, You would be much better off going with either Early or Late Sitting for your family. My time Dining at this time is a mess.

Let's hope presume isn't like assume. Cause you know what that will get you. Don't need a TA to take care of this issue. Just get on the phone and make a few phone calls to Royal.

What does having a good TA have to do with Royal's policy on someone coming down with Covid 2 days before their cruise?

Well Royal definitely isn't a high end cruise line, so shouldn't have the need to charge for it's internet that half the time doesn't either work or is very, very slow. I wish I could name even just one cruise where I didn't have an issue with the internet on a Royal ship.

I think NJ schools may be closed that week for Presidents Week. Lots of kids onboard that week. They can only sell so many cabins with 3 persons, guessing they are figuring if they sell the rest of their open cabins with 2 persons they will be at capacity. Life boats etc.

Sure why no just build it into the cruise fare if the cruise line thinks they need to do that. People won't even know what the higher price is for. Prices are getting higher anyway. Guess we never stayed in any hotels that had free and pay internets services.................Free is free internet where we have stayed, not another option.
