Book when you see the times and date you want for 1 person................what do you have to lose..........If they charge you the onboard price and cancel your booking, you at least are eating at the time and night you want. Nothing to lose, If they give you the OBC use it for your tips at the end of the cruise. That is what we will be doing if they give us OBC and cancel my discounted dinner. After boarding I'm not going to rush to try to get the time and night we want. That's a PITA. This way our time and day is locked in, btw there are no tables for 1 person anyway...........so they will just add a plate when we arrive. , Not a big deal.

Would be nice to use the Key to get off before the Walk Offs to be first in a line for a taxi..........We need a short ride from Cape Liberty to a car rental........I can just imagine how long the line will be after the walk offs get off......... Would think of using Uber maybe but for such a short drive to the car rental(about 3 miles) no one might not want to pick us up. The driver then has to get back in line to get back into the port again.

Don't forget to remind John to make sure he packs all his supplies for the Party Favorites for the Bella2 cruise. Lord knows he will have some idle time on the WC to get things done.

If you bought the Key................when Checking In for your Cruise do you actually need a Check In Time? or can you pretty much board anytime you want? also at the end of your cruise, at your home port do Key people get off even before the Carry Off people who leave the ship on the last Morning.\ This would be for Bayonne, NJ Cape Liberty

We had Icon booked for March 2025 but canceled, my Wife doesn't want to go on that large of ship. Had a great cabin location and price too, Prices are Much HIGHER now. Oh well.

After all that time on a ship , you may want to trade those 2 free cabins for a couple of land vacations. 😉

Soft white sand in NJ.........and when it's hot, don't forget to mention just how hot that sand gets walking on your bare feet. When we were little kids, it used to a full out sprint to get to the water......to cool your feet off when arriving at the beach.

Here is the dried look now of the floor in the Master Bedroom, this picture was taken from the doorway of the Master Bathroom. My Wife wanted all the floors to have a matte finish, she says the shiny look floors are now out of date. I like they way ours came out, just enough sheen to make them nice but not like we had before where we almost need sun glasses when the sun shined through the front windows. Once we get everything back together my Wife is putting together before and after pictures. We do have one more thing to complete tomorrow morning, on the hallway leading to the guest bedrooms, don't really like have plain it looks going into that hallway. We are going to do something to it to spruce it up. Surprise to follow 🙂

Finally get our house back,after kitchen remodel and hardwood floor refinishing. Master Bedroom floor completed today,just waiting for it dry before putting back our bedroom furniture and bed. Finally get to enjoy our house again.

Just curious how old is your Mother, younger the better. They can deal with this much better and are faster healing.
