What 3 hour wait at the airport? What airport?
There are many discussions here on transport options. Shuttles (like SAS, QLS, GO Shuttle, Jiffy Jeff) are mentioned frequently. There are limo/car services like Larry's Limo mentioned here frequently.
There is always Uber/Lyft and taxis.
They could all be brokers/agents all selling the same provider. Viator is a broker...they NEVER provide the service, they just take your money and book you with the actual vendor. There are many negative threads around here about Viator.
We aren't allowed to recommend something we haven't used.
That being said, there are MANY restaurants in Fira. You can just wonder along, looking at the restaurants and menus until you find something that sounds interesting to you. They are all tourist oriented...there will be menus posted.
Take a look around the board. There are a gazillion threads on hotels. Most offer port shuttles for a fee. There is also the website visitlauderdale.com, that lists all hotels in Ft Lauderdale with their amenities, like shuttles.
Tons of info here if you look around a bit.
I would be totally disregarding the UA flight numbers. As you are flying AC, pay attention to, and use the AC flight info. If you ask about UA flight XXX at CPH, few, if any, will know it. If you ask about AC flight YYY, they will know about it.
And we flew to CPH on AC, booked through UA last summer.
Many Americans are pretty shy about trying local cuisine...I know, I am married to one. But she has gone on probably 40 international trips now in our 38 years of marriage.
The point is that American orientated cruise lines like Celebrity and about 8 or 10 others, will lean heavily on American style food to please their base. Yes, there can be one or more local themed dishes on each menu. On the other hand, many Americans don't know how many dishes they consider "American" actually have their origins elsewhere.
There are many discussions on this board on the topic.
The dress code doesn't change...it is the same everywhere Princess sails. However, people tend towards more relaxed (casual)versions as people need to bring a heavier and more varied amount of clothes due to the cooler weather in Alaska.
I know this is going to shock some people, but in 2019 we had a non-stop booked SFO-MIA, getting us in at about 5pm. A couple months in advance, UA canceled the non-stop, and put us on a one connection route that arrived about 10:30pm. We immediately canceled, for a full refund, and booked an AA non-stop that got us in at about 3:30. Cost us about 15% more because the cheaper fare buckets were sold out.
Amazing I know, but other airlines change flight times too.
