  1. Don't use Euros. Don't even really need krones. Just use your credit card. Many threads here on that topic as well.
  2. This has been discussed. You may be able to see the cruises, but others have not be able to book the cruises yet.
  3. In Mallorca (which is discussed on the Spain board), yes, you can walk into town.
  4. I am not sure why this is a mystery to some folks. The Metrorail is serving the airport. Of course some people will be bringing luggage on the light rail, and it is designed for that. The Metrorail is not just bring workers to the airport.
  5. There is no dress code for Pinnacle or Tamarind, its whatever the nights dress suggestion is. Formal nights are gone, replaced by 'dressy nights" which are pretty much slightly nicer than regular nights. Dozens of threads here on "dress codes".
  6. Its a hack job...most likely not your fault.
  7. Take a taxi or Uber. Both are plentiful and very reasonably priced.
  8. "Many"? Define "many". My understanding it's pretty much just the hotels adjacent to MIA.
  9. The access for private tour drivers is a commonly mentioned here, but a good reminder. There are several docks at Civi. Your info only applies to the main terminal. There can be as many as 6 or so ships in at Civi on a busy day.
  10. From the "Rules" sticky at the top of the board: Post Shore Excursion Shares In ROLL CALLS Posts looking for members to "share" your excursion, or posts mentioning that a few more spaces in a van are available and you should contact so and so, are not allowed here or or on any of the other forums except the ROLL CALL forums.
  11. I suspect that varies tour to tour, port to port, perhaps cruise line to cruise line, and also due to other variables. I also suspect it is proprietary information.
  12. I guess this would all depend on where else you are sailing to, which you have not told us. Having Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier or even Tracy Arm on your schedule would affect the choices considerably.
  13. Very true. At SFO, AC arrives at Terminal 2, not the International Terminal, which is an entirely different approach to the airport.
  14. And make the home page you always come to this: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/ That way you see all the things available to you.
  15. So you post many threads about whether or not HAL and CCL are going to make it, have enough revenue, etc. Then you propose to reduce one of their main profit centers?
  16. Recent info, discussed here a few times, is that an internet plan through HIA, is for both people in a cabin. You don't need to buy access for the other person in the cabin. They are covered.
  17. You don't have to spend every day in a cabana. You can come and go, do excursions or whatever else you want.
  18. Have you looked at the website for the golf course yet? Has it answered most of these questions? As to the excursion selling out, I would expect it has very limited slots, maybe 2 foursomes max. Balanced against an anticipated relatively low demand...I don't know I can say it "typically" sells out (and I doubt anyone else would be able to say that). I sense the use of the word "excursion" might be replaced with a "do it yourself trip" as the cruise line isn't actually doing an organized event, or are they?
  19. As mentioned, the cabana stewards know who is allowed, and who isn't. And, yes, it would be wrong for any one else to use it. Not sure why you might think otherwise. But, you guiys could book your own cabana. You will love it. Its great!!
  20. Thank you. This has been discussed here many times, but we Americans seem stubborn sometimes.
  21. A tender? Depends a little on the cruise line policy, but generally, the answer is yes.
  22. Pretty high chance of seeing them...particularly the later in the month you go.
