You need to read the posts above. The one way tunnel...the only way out of Whittier.. is closed from 11pm to 6am. The tunnel allows outbound traffic every hour, on the hour, as I understand. Your transport would have to be in Whittier overnight, have you on the vehicle for the 6am passage, or wait until 7am.
The deck 10 area above the pool is not cabanas. Its loungers open to any one.
The spa hydropool is a wonderful serious hut tub with great jets and therapy action. It is much better than a hot tub.
