No, nothing in Issaquah. But I'm not really looking for it. And it's not something I'd notice while driving by since my hands are always glued to the wheel, driving is difficult post stroke.
We always see the booth selling the gyros at the Puyallup Fair.

We often go shopping for snacks or something we forgot-or just a walk around the area.
-
You can also attach a cord to the door stop which loops around the door handle to make it easier to remove.
-
You can also request a cool/warm water wash.

@VMax1700What do you consider a much longer walk? We have reservations there June 1. Do you have an estimate on average walking time? Thanks so much.

I imagine the cabins do have USB charging stations?
Some do, some don't. Good to have a couple of adaptors.

On our cruise last October you were served (at the counter rather than at your table), no self-service. I would try to have them add to a plate rather than trying to carry several plates. The silverware was wrapped in a napkin, already at the table. For coffee, tea, water, lemonade or iced tea you could either go to the beverage area and request a drink or there were crew members circulating with beverages. Soda pop would need to be ordered and paid for if you didn't have a beverage package.

@StLouisCruisersI had my eyelids fixed and brows lifted (not sure why but the dr. said they needed to be done) Feb. 19, 2021. I still occasionally have twinges from my brow to the top of my head but it's getting much better. It's funny how it can feel numb and then get a sharp zap. But it is so nice to have wide-open vision again. It was another test I'm glad I failed (insurance and Medicare covered it all.)

We enjoy the specialty coffees and like having a few bottles of water on hand to take ashore so it's just not the bar drinks to consider.

If you board early, the crew may not be at the muster station. We had to wait an hour or so-time for an umbrella beverage at the Sea View bar.

@StLouisCruisersAnother thought is to contact their state and National Congressional representatives for a nudge in the correct direction.

@Horizon chaser 1957Congrats on the Alaska cruise. What long-term parking lot do you use? We plan to drive up from Seattle for our cruise and do the Skytrain but have no idea where the best option for parking is located. Thanks!

Today is also Popcorn Lovers Day-and I'll claim that one. Add another Kay to the middle name list. Love it but don't care for Susan so I stick with Susie when I can.

Sometimes you can wet the headband area and gently stretch it. My dad used to wear a mesh baseball type cap and we had a metal mixing bowl that was just the right size. After washing the hat, it dried stretched on the bottom of the bowl. Looked silly but it worked!

The other trick to using older pressure cookers is to monitor the pressure. It's not something that you turn on and forget about until you think whatever is done.

@hvbaskeyJust noticed your location as an island in the PNW. Are you north sound or south sound? We're floating between Seattle and Tacoma.

Both my mother and brother were florists so Floral Design Day is very special here. Not so special today is finding out I qualify for a total hip replacement. Now to figure out how to schedule it between cruises 😊. Take care everyone.

I do like my coffee lattes and the frozen coffee slushy-type drink is good-especially if you add caramel. We stock up on bottled water to take on shore excursions. All these are part of the beverage package as well as your favorite bar beverage. It doesn't take long for it to add up. Of course we could do without most of it but hey, we're on a cruise.

Have a fantastic cruise! It was one of our favorites-especially since we were able to end the cruise in Seattle.

I did get the offer and thought it would be fun to attend (I wanted to find a big gold nugget) but then realized I'd be visiting grandsons in Colorado. Timing is everything!

I was able to book a flight for after our cruise in December. I know the website says something to the effect that flights can be booked 330 days before the last day of the cruise. One time I waited until 330 days before the cruise started but couldn't book for another 10 days because it was a 10 day cruise.

We've never had a problem bringing on snacks, candy and other goodies for the crew-and ourselves. We especially love papayas and get several when we're in a port where those are available. I think the restriction is when you try to take food off the ship.

@scluvsrainHi Sherita, I agree with you-we enjoy both Princess and HAL. There are a couple of things we like better on Princess, mainly the International Cafe.

I like this new design over last year's Eurodam tile.
