  1. We are very much looking forward to our first X cruise in December! 🙂 Thanks so much for all the info my friend...and the email updates too. 🥰
  2. On first quarter it was so annoying how much they kept running out of Kim Crawford. It's become very popular, especially being included in the unlimited drink package. Finally ran into that situation in the WJ yesterday for lunch, but luckily still in supply in the CL. Though our favorite bartender is stashing it away for the few of us that drink it every night. 🙂 Not a Chard fan myself. My go to wines are NZ Sauvignon Blancs. 🥰 Have not touched my comped wine yet, which is Peter Yealands NZ SB.. Saving that for when the whole ship runs out of KC. 😉
  3. I want my "kiss me, I am special" pin. 😄 But actually on our X cruise...I will be hiding my card as much as possible. We are the "red headed step children Zeniths". 😉
  4. It's funny to see some of the older ships....those balconies are actually inset of the hull.
  5. "Outside cabins" have windows. Once again...all in the name. But they don't open, and they are not outside. 😉 😄
  6. LOL...it's still doable. Things could be worse....and in fact, the one good thing is...three more bottles of wine with start of each mini leg. 😄
  7. OMG...that is one of the funniest posts I have read in a long time. Thanks for the laugh!! 😄 😄
  8. Except the OV cabin windows...don't open. 😉
  9. The formality of being a "turn around day"....when we never booked it that way. The mini segments came much later after the quarters were being booked.
  10. Indeed love that location for suites...but prefer the single floor of the GS...and being just the two of us...all we need. Did find it funny the last time we stayed in a CLS. Rather than drag clothes back down the stairs to level one for packing night before disembarkation....I tossed them over the railing. Raining clothes!! 😄
  11. I can see a WC that is half length. Though that is what we made it as for ourselves. (1st quarter, last quarter) totaling 125 nights. Maybe a 120 night, that can be broken in two sixty nights? These mini segment break ups are annoying for us...... IMHO. Luckily we have the same cabin for each 63/62 night quarters.
  12. Gator tail, Frog legs, Crawfish (mud bugs)? 😉 Gotta love the south. 😄
  13. You are most welcome. We adore CK, and will miss Wonder when she leaves Port Canaveral. Was one of our favorite ships. Love the GS cabins (our go to cabin of choice) being all on the same deck (17) as CK. 🙂
  14. Hopefully not the really rude and crude ones. But the ones I have seen...ummm... 😵
  15. It is called a balcony...just like the X Infinite balcony...though IMHO...it is indeed simply a window that opens. 😉 . Viking calls it their "Nordic" balcony. The top window slides down completely, and becomes an open air thing. Much like the Infinite balconies on X, and is why I showed the picture.
  16. OK....Had me confused when you said Exploration ship. We are on Octantis...the Expedition ship. And what is the "Fram"?
  17. Viking does have the Nordic balconies on the Expedition ships. We are booked into one on Octantis. The top half of the window slides down to open air.
  18. If you are in a GS and above (not a JS) indeed you will want to make reservations in advance. Normally the concierge will email you about 5 days in advance. Simply reply with your choice of time. You can always change it later if needed. Have a fantabulous time! 🙂
  19. I like the comment one poster said about having multiple Infinite balconies in their house. 😄 Have never stayed in one, but looking forward to the new experience with a B2B on Apex. Like it? Will book again. Don't like it. Won't. Simple. 😉
  20. See...just another reason your bro and I love you both!! 😄 🥰
  21. Sometimes there are side rooms that can be used for functions?
  22. We see "wife beater" t-shirts, baggy beer can shorts, ball caps, and flip flops during dinner...even at formal night. Really only a suggestion now on dress code.
