  1. Just wait till you see your credit card statement.😁
  2. The only things you can't use a TA for are to make payments or make a name change / modification or change dining times. Everything else including cruise planner purchases, booking airfare and check in you can still do.
  3. Surprisingly enough, I have found the filet in Giovanni's better than chops and both better than the MDR
  4. Nothing gets deducted form your daily gratuity because you choose to dine in a specialty dining venue. That gratuity also covers servers for lunch and breakfast
  5. I don't ever factor in possibilities of the ship being late. It is such a rare occurrence that to plan for it would be difficult. Where do you draw the line, do you plan on it being 2 hours late, 4 hours or even more. All are possibilities as are weather, plane breakdowns or any other reason for a flight getting cancelled. Too often it's an early flight or much more expensive one mid day or a late night flight that means finding something to do for 8 or more hours so there really aren't a lot of viable options.
  6. Back when I had my own contracting company that specialized in basement renovations all we did was flat ceiling, no popcorn, no knockdown. A bit more time but a much cleaner look that added visual height to the room. As for getting rid of popcorn ceilings we always just installed new sheetrock over top, even if it did not contain asbestos. That also allowed us to cut dozens of holes in the old ceiling to add pot lights and fish wires. Run a bead of caulking around the perimeter walls and install crown molding and you did not even have to tape the corners which saved you from repainting all of the walls.
  7. I have only ever been asked to show my check in time once in 15 cruises and that was right after start up.
  8. There are shows on all the short cruises thst Allure does. I would say the person on your roll call is incorrect.
  9. Yes as third and 4th guests have a different cacellation policy however you risk being moved to a double occupancy room and repriced.
  10. Plenty of space and no one will say a thing. You may need to move a bit of furniture around but its easily done
  11. I run into that as well from time to time but just keep asking for a different resolutions agent. It is easy enough to see as you have paid the full deposit. The only issue could be if the next cruise agent screwed up and did charge the full deposit but did the booking as a non refundable.
  12. There is no OBC for 2 night sailings. Royal does not offer B2B discounts like Celebrity
  13. I have rented one for a client before without any issues. Special needs at Sea has them.
  14. Anything from the soft serve machines is 100% artificial ingredients and has no trace of dairy or or lactose.
  15. Maybe 6 months ago. It was the same rime they went to the $1000 deposits on the 15 night or longer sailings.
  16. As stated earlier in this thread Royal has dropped the notation that private islands count as a sea day. You are fine as you only have 2 sea days.
  17. Ellen actually means months before the final payment date. Its 90 days not 3 months as 3 months can be something other than 90 days. 75 days for 3-5 night sailings 120 days for 15 plus nights
  18. Great advice. Things can definitely go wrong, I've seen it first hand. I shudder when I have a client ask me to run their payment on the day that it is due.
