  1. Where are you going? We did a Caribbean cruise and there were only 338 ppl onboard. I did a live blog for that cruise. We'll be back on O in September for Bermuda Bliss.
  2. We sailed in Feb on O. It was awesome.
  3. I would too. I once had a seriously undercooked French Toast( raw inside). I sent it back( in Aqua Class) they replaced it. Later, they sent something to my room. You need to give them the opportunity to make things right.
  4. Did you happen to get any pics of the track? We'll be on a Great Barrier Reef cruise on Edge in Feb 2024.
  5. 6:45. We were off the ship at 6:30. We were in a suite, so we went to Michael's club( Reflection) and left through the secret door. We carried off our own luggage. We shared a cab with a couple who were in a regular balcony cabin. The retreat host let us bring them to Michael's club to disembark with us.
  6. Taste is so subjective. I love NY pizza. Everything else is mostly Meh to me. With that being said, I don't hate the pizza on X. I lived in Ontario, Canada for 8yrs. My chain pizza choice was Pizza Pizza.
  7. Did you read the thread? We had an 11am flight and made it. We booked with Rome cabs. We were at the airport in 45 min.
  8. Its a silicon salad dressing container. I've used it on numerous trips and I'm alive : )
  9. I actually make yeasted waffles at home. The best waffles I've ever had. So, I just skip them on the ship. They don't compare to my own.
  10. A small travel toiletry bottle is not a lot of work.
  11. Oh yes. My ex's family is from Cape Breton. We went there for a family reunion. The lobster dinner was served at a fire hall. We paid about 40 bucks for lobster/sides. I ate my lobster and was asked " Are you ready for your second lobster". LOL. It was amazing( I ended up taking the 2nd lobster( meat picked off) back to Ontario with us. I was not going to waste that.
  12. Its a good thing you enjoy dark meat. The white meat was always dry as a bone. I agree with you on the quality of the food. It has gone downhill for sure.
  13. We too visited the food hall on our September Reflection cruise. I had a wonderful cannoli and brought back some EVOO.
  14. Not super recent, but on our September 16th Reflection( Italy) cruise there was a couple quarantined in their suite. We were in a Sky Suite. We saw them on Day 1, never saw them again. All meals were delivered. Trash was left at the door, we saw red bags of linens. On the second to last day, we saw the nurse visit and administer tests. We flew home on September 26th, my wife came down with a "cold" the next day. I tested her and she was negative. She was negative on day 2 as well. She tested positive on day 3. I never tested positive, nor did I become sick. We both had our 5th booster on September 8th, 4 days before we flew to Rome. I have to say, if she became sick onboard, I would not have reported it. We brought Paxlovid with us. There were NUMEROUS people coughing in the very crowded elevators. More than a few people on our roll call tested positive when we came home.
  15. When I lived in Exeter, Ontario, I worked for a senior dining program. I was given a budget of 3 bucks a person to buy groceries. That meal had to have juice, salad, veg, starch, meat and dessert. I had to shop for 50 ppl. The seniors paid 9 bucks for their meal. Even back then( 2006-2009) it was hard to stay in budget. I had to buy meat at 2 bucks a pound to stay in budget. Even then, the seniors weren't happy with my roasts, They just didn't understand that a 2.00lb roast was not going to be good unless it was a pot roast. I kept a long vlog on Egullet.org https://forums.egullet.org/topic/97559-cooking-for-50-senior-citizens/ There it is if you're interested. The Canadians might find it interesting. I was married to a Canadian woman( we divorced and I moved back to California). This was the first time anyone had ever complained about my food. I'm a very accomplished cook/baker.
  16. and I'm currently eating a noosa yogurt with an "expiration date" of 2 weeks ago. Its perfectly fine. Buttermilk, Yogurt, sour cream and eggs are all still good weeks past the expiration date.
  17. But the Canadian dollar has tanked. Is it still a good deal to shop in the US?
  18. I lived in Ontario and would cross once a week into Port Huron to go shopping( I'm American). Pick up mail, visit Target or doctors( before I was eligible for OHIP). I brought back cheese, chicken, butter, other dairy, jiffy corn muffin mixes. I never had an issue. I never brought Produce back though.
  19. @DragonOfTheSeas It sounds like Diamond Plus should at least Equal Elite PLUS. You have so many cruises to just be "Elite".
  20. Where can we find the power up points from those games earlier this year?
