  1. Everyone was going to their cabins before FTTF. It officially became a D/P perk when FTTP was introduced.
  2. It appears to be only the last two sailings in August for both ships which are doing Eastern Caribbean and Bermuda sailings. Cruises heading north are not affected.
  3. My guess, and I'm no expert, is that the satellite that they lock onto when cruising the mid atlantic will be offline for whatever reason. I wouldn't be surprised if satellite TV is also affected, meaning disruption in cabins and sports bar. Those who have cruised to Hawaii and done a trans Pacific cruise would understand. There are "dead" spots out there!
  4. Maybe they will receive limited, sparodic coverage, that may vary day to day depending on the ship's location. That's why they aren't offering packages, but will allow day by day access depending on service. To the OP, you log in directly from your device, there is no Internet desk.😎
  5. We got the same email regarding our Legend cruise. Both the Legend and the Magic are doing similar itineraries during the same two weeks from the northeast, so maybe it is a satellite coverage issue.😎
  6. That is correct. P/D didn't get "official " early cabin availability and priority luggage until FTTF was introduced.
  7. Will be following along. We're planning on a similar trip in 2024 or 2025. We like to plan way ahead!
  8. Enjoy! At least you're staying in the Carnival Family!
  9. We did a B2B on her in September 2019, and enjoyed her very much. Our review is in my signature. That being said, and I mentioned it in our review, that we would not sail on her, or the Sunshine or Radiance, during peak seasons and holidays, as she would feel very crowded. 😎
  10. Sorry you lost your cabana, but they have a VIP area right in front of the cabanas where you can get cushioned loungers, umbrella, pool noodles, and good waiter service for about $100. First come, first served. 😎
  11. The system as it now exists works very well. Having done many cruises before and after, we can attest to that. Why there has been two threads in the past week implying otherwise seems fishy to me. Laid off shore staff maybe?.....😎
  12. Our PVP always takes care of that, but I'm so anal that I'll stop by Guest Services at some point just to check!
  13. Yes, we have done quite a few B2B'S, and you need to check in for each cruise. Each cruise is seperate from the other. 😎
  14. Just to clarify, you have a 10-10:30am check in time, not boarding time.😎
  15. No extra work for the bartenders. They just scan the barcode on the boarding pass. The same information with your picture pops up. 😎
  16. Just wanted to add that on our several Carnival Bermuda cruises that stayed overnight, the casino would open at 9 pm. 😎
  17. If you are not vaccinated you need to provide a negative test. Read the entire protocols.
  18. We like the extended balconies on the "hump". They are the only balconies on the ship where you can look straight down to the water. They also come with a lounger. 😎
