  1. Will you have children in tow? Do you have any mobility issues? What do you like to do? How do you feel about local cuisine?
  2. You have to show Your card to get in and the cards are color-coded so they know right away who is Concierge Class and who isn’t. Expect to be turned away.
  3. When you walk in the door at the retreat, they know that you are in a suite, and all drinks served in the retreat are free. It doesn’t matter that you got to the suite through a move up bid or by paying full fare
  4. If you are coming from Royal you are used to the diamond lounge. Celebrity has no such thing. They do offer a continental breakfast in one of the restaurants, usually Tuscan, from 8 to 10 in the morning. You can get specialty coffees, Bellini’s, and bloody Mary’s there. In the evening from 5-7 you can order drinks from the Elite Happy hour menu at most bars but not in restaurants.
  5. Worn out carpets are quickly replaced. You won’t find anything that looks shabby on reflection
  6. There is a company called Luggage ship which can ship a suitcase to a cruise ship
  7. It appears that their hotel is in Tokyo so nowhere near the ship
  8. None of the recent emails gave power up points, did they?
  9. So if it is arriving on time, why are people worried about their flight? The delayed boarding is probably due to all the formalities that take place when a ship comes to the US from Europe, extra immigration on the crew, possible public health inspections, things like that
  10. It would be no problem to get keys to each other’s rooms and change out who sleeps where
  11. If they were in their own room by themselves you cant just put two new people in that room. One of the original passengers must remain, and teen you can make a substitution for the other one. So if they were in their own room and both wan’t to cancel, you are out of luck. Sorry
  12. You can certainly book a Royal cruise when you are on a celebrity cruise. It will be just as if you were on a royal cruise and you will get whatever booking incentives are in play at that time. The Celebrity staff won’t know the Royal ships very well, so come prepared with which ship and stateroom you are interested in.
  13. One piece of advice is to make sure that your name is actually on the list on day one of the cruise because you can’t sign up for the program partway through the cruise. Even though you may sign up pre-cruise online, confirm it at guest relations who can check to see if your name is on the list that is sent to the housekeeping department
  14. Sollan, Are the other events, like Mixology, showing on the list of benefits? Is it only the breakfast that is missing?
  15. There are some fairly recent reports in this thread
  16. You can’t. The points don’t transfer. Celebrity will give you a courtesy enrollment at a matching level to your current royal level but you will have zero CELEBRITY points. You have to accumulate celebrity points on celebrity and Royal points on Royal.
  17. They’ve stopped coming to me, too. No idea why.
