  1. Hmmmm...interesting that a "health booster" has grapefruit juice in it. Not a good thing for those who are taking statins (80-90% of passengers?).
  2. Making them isn't a lot of work...cleaning the juicer is a PITA. Been there, done that, gave it to GoodWill.
  3. We started cruising in our late 60s. One of the first things that I learned is that when you're in the "older" demographic the cost soars. We get Princess insurance for that reason. But, to sort of answer your question...here's a link from a Google search for "cruise insurance": https://www.travelinsurance.com/cruise-insurance/?utm_source=pap&a_aid=6501d6f777a6e&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAkp6tBhB5EiwANTCx1Bk0SSE6zmJvAYzsUnHI_x1dLKDiuYWbBZf9_3jxjhrJO862RuEZiBoCUdAQAvD_BwE
  4. It's interesting how many "rotators" there are on the new menu. Lots of good ol' standbys and plenty of rotating in and out "specials". It's starting to sound (at least a little) OK.
  5. Excellent suggestion: I did exactly that (only I used our respective tablets, we only have one smart phone). A good thing that I did it, too. The app wouldn't accept my password. DH was OK, but I had to reset (using the same password) in order to load my portion.
  6. Was that for your embarkation dinner in a specialty restaurant?
  7. What if the app won't load? I tried it last night and it wouldn't load. This morning it loaded. Kind of iffy.
  8. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is wondering how this works. In the past, we showed our boarding docs to get through the door to go to check-in (primarily at San Pedro). Once through the door, go to the line for check-in and receive the "card" for doors, purchases, etc. On our first Medallion cruise, our Medallions were mailed at no charge. For our next cruise we didn't purchase a package so would have to pay $10 to get them mailed. We've opted not to do that. So...we arrive at the port (San Pedro) and approach the "gate keepers" at the door...now what? Anyone with experience at San Pedro? Are there still "gate keepers"? Just walk in and get in line? Show paperwork? Show something on the app...if I can get it to load (an iffy proposition).
  9. "Friends"?? They would be ex-friends for me.
  10. If using a CVP...they can fix this as well.
  11. Once you are Elite...you get free laundry (at least for now 🤐).
  12. IIRC...each person's account is kept separate until the end of the cruise. Then, person 1 and person 2 are added together to determine money owed or refund due (for refundable OBC).
  13. There aren't really any cabins "next" to the Terrace pool. If you're on Riviera and want to go to the Terrace pool, you would take the stairs up to the pool. This is if my memory is working properly. I'm more familiar with ships with no Riviera deck. The Aloha deck aft is our favorite inside cabin. Stairs up to the Terrace pool. Another set of stairs up to the buffet.
  14. Sure am glad that I already experienced the Chef's Table. It was great!! With the new "standard" menu and a higher price...it's one and done.
  15. Probably not. That's more complex than asking for some bacon or a slice of papaya.
  16. They should have at least Sweet N' Low. I just cleaned out my cruise stuff prepping for our next cruise and found 4 packets from our last cruise. All the ships carry the same sweeteners: Sweet N' Low, the one in the yellow pkg, sugar and raw sugar, more (?). All the ships we've been on had the same stuff.
  17. Some trivia attendees on B2B cruises will compete to get that glorious gift for 1st place.🤣
  18. It definitely won't go to the person who did the extra work. The tip that you provide to the person who drops of your order is the one who gets the tip. Some report success writing in a desired food. I've tried it a couple of times without success.
  19. Collapsible umbrella or a disposable rain coat for the islands. It rains "almost" every day.
  20. My point was that they are no longer listed on Princess.com. If you're new to suites and don't get something that experience suite cruisers expect, you won't know what to ask for. On our very first suite on Discovery, I brought the list with me. Boy, did I need it!! Our disaster of a steward had to be shown the list in order to get anything that is usually provided. Even with the list, we never had fresh flowers and a couple of other things that I requested and just got a shrug. His end of trip tip reflected his caring attitude.
