Good Morning From Sydney

Recommended Posts

Sister ships, both R Class, ex Renaissance. Been on PP but not the other.

Great shots, thank you.

Hardly "sisters" except in basic infrastructure. It recently took Oceania $40 million to update/upgrade the Ocean Princess (now sailing as Oceania Sirena.

Well Oceana spent a lot of money on her but they are still both R Class.;) In design anyway, forget about the adornments.

Actually, a lot of the money was spent on upgrades to food prep and dining areas.

They are great little ships, we were booked on another R Class - P&O UK's Adonia - 2 cruises this Northern Summer, but they sold the ship to Azamara. Had to fill in the void with the big Princess ships, never mind, still cruising to exciting places, just a lot more pax with us.

Happy cruising to you.:*

A nice warm day for the pax on Pacific Princess, probably mid 30's in the City, same down here at the 'Bay.' 36C as I speak, but a southerly change on the way this evening, cool it down for everybody. Cranking up the A/C today I was and now a well chilled Wolf Blass Red Label Sauv Blanc, with a little smoked salmon accompaniment, just like they are having on ye olde Pacific Princess.

Today turned out to be a very "hot" day in Sydney.

With that said I prefer this over winter in the States.

We love Sydney and we do Australia (and also New Zealand).

My wife and I have always said if we had to leave the USA we would want to move here.

It’s good to see the Pacific Princess in Sydney. We were on the 1st segment of her world cruise through the Panama Canal in January. She is a super nice ship to cruise on. We will be back on her in November in the Mediterranean.
