It'sRC4ME Posted November 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2010 DH and I received a Crown and Anchor brochure earlier this week which detailed various upcoming cruise deals. A mis-printed ship name reveals what RC really wants you to do on board...

Trevoli Posted November 10, 2010 #11 Share Posted November 10, 2010 They misspelled the name of the ship: SPENDOUR (spender) instead of SPLENDOUR. I've been on the Spendour many, many times.

cruisegirl1 Posted November 10, 2010 #16 Share Posted November 10, 2010 Ha - that is cute - The poster size compass on the Monarch a few mmonths ago had "FIRDAY" rather than "FRIDAY" My husband asked if we were going to Alaska rather than the Bahamas as today was "FIRDAY". We noticed the sign about 3:00 in the afternoon which means either no one else noticed the error and menioned it, or RCCL knew and did not bother to change it. Trevoli Posted November 10, 2010 #19 Share Posted November 10, 2010 I'm sure hundreds of people would never notice, which explains why it passed by so many pairs of eyes on their end, and went unnoticed. I am responsible for some artwork and documents at my job, and I'm sometimes (rarely, thankfully) embarrassed at what slips by me because we see what we want/expect to see.
