In one of the elevators, the floor numbers (over top of the doors) have been turned sideways. Usually gets a laugh in the elevator when someone points it out. It's one of the elevators at the dining room.

Has anyone heard where the Alchemy Bar is going on the Pride? I am guessing one of the bars on deck 2 or 3 right outside the restaurant? Anyone?

Yes, Pride is supposed to be getting the alchemy bar as part of the dry dock. Here is the full list ...

To be implemented during 10/19/14-11/09/14 Dry-Dock

· * * * * Guy’s Burger Joint

· * * * * BlueIguana Cantina

· * * * * BlueIguana Tequila Bar

· * * * * Bonsai Sushi

· * * * * WaterWorks

· * * * * Hasbro, The Game Show

· * * * * Playlist Productions

· * * * * EA SPORTS Bar

· * * * * Alchemy Bar

· * * * * RedFrog Pub

· * * * * RedFrog Rum Bar

· * * * * The Library Bar

· * * * * Cherry on Top

And now, also the movie screen. :)

Loads of info has been posted about the upgrades the Pride will be getting...starting in a little over a week from now!! But I've also wondered if any drawings or illustrations have been made available showing the locations of the new venues. Something that COULD be possible when Pride is in dry dock, Carnival posts the new deck plans for post dry dock, I mean in about a month from today, she'll be sailing with all the new 2.0 upgrades....they should get the word out now!!! I don't believe any of the other Spirit class ships have had all the upgrades the Pride is getting, so hard to use them as a comparison.

We were on Pride just last month and wandered around guessing where things would go....bout the only one thats close to a certainty, is pretty sure the Red Frog Pub will replace the Starry Nights lounge. Our GUESSES were that the Alchemy bar replaces either Raphael's lounge on Deck 3, or the Florentine Lounge on Deck 4.......We gotta wait ALL THE WAY to next March to see for ourselves all the upgrades...should be fun.

I asked John Heald because we're planning to sail on the Pride June 14, 2015. He said that the Red Frog Pub will replace the Starry Nights. The Guys and the Blue Iguana are going where the 2 grills are now by the pool. The Bonsai Sushi will be just outside the Casino. I can't remember where he said the Alchemy bar would be, but I think you are correct that it will replace the Florentine Lounge.

Can anyone point in the right direction. Trying to figure out who the cruise director will be in may. Not sure if there's a list or not. I tried Google but couldn't find anything.

Sent from my SM-G900V using Forums mobile app

As of right now, it is only posted until February. you can check it out on John Heald's blog.

Has anyone done Chef's Table on the Pride recently? I understand there is (FINALLY!) a new menu, and was wondering if it had reached the Pride yet.

We just did the Chef's Table last week. It was the highlight of our trip. Let's see if I can upload some pics!

I just found this thread. I guess it was bumped up from a few months ago. We weren't booked on the Pride at that time, so I paid no attention. Eventually I'll go back and read all the pages, so if this has been discussed, excuse me. :o We plan to drive from NE NJ to Baltimore the morning of the cruise. I am terrified of bumping into traffic or whatever and "being late." We are platinum and enjoy being one of the lst on the ship. We will be parking at the pier. Is it open 24 hours? I am a bit worried we will get there at 9am or something and the gates will be locked. Also, what is the terminal like? In case we have a wait. And we are doing a B2B so if we want to do some shopping between cruises for "supplies" is this doable? Are there areas within close proximity to shop at? TIA.

Last year when we went on pride we drove from western ny the day before as we had never been to Baltimore. We went to the pier around 11 I think, we had to wait in our a car a little bit so don't get there too early. There would be stores with a couple minute drive so you should be good with that. We had fttf and things went quickly and smoothly in the terminal. Seemed there was plenty of seating and room where we were. We are going on her again next month and driving in the day of. I am a little nervous about traffic and what not but planning to get there around 11 so if we are a bit late it'll be all good. Have fun on your cruise!
