Just got upgraded!

I can't believe I get to write this. We were in a SY superior suite. We were offered 2 upsells in the last month. One for $299pp and another at $249pp. I turned both down and was hoping we would be offered $150 as that is the price I decided we would take it. Anyway - I gave up hoping this week and was happy with what we paid for. This afternoon I got a call from my TA saying we have been upgraded to an SA deluxe suite!!! :) I can't believe we got so lucky. Our one and only cruise before was an inside on the Disney Wonder. I will be skipping across the gangplank tomorrow morning!

We had a similar experience this year from SS to SA. The only problem is finding the best way of using the huge suite and Neptune Lounge to advantage. Luckily we had two couples cruising with us, so we could host pre-dinner parties with delivered hot hor d'oerves nightly in our suite. Bring on many bottles of wine and a corkscrew for your parties. We wouldn't need an SA for just us two, but it was memorable.
