no, Capt Claus is first, my spreadsheet has Gus first and I don't know how to change that block in the Excel program. When I post the info, I forget to manually change it. :o

Thanks for the update! What did you take as starting date for Anthem, but also for Quantum? September 21 is the river Ems passage still with Meyer Werft Captain. Royal will take over the ship after sea trials in Bremerhaven, this should take place around mid October. For Anthem it will happen in the the first weeks of April. Would also be interesting to know if a Captain does a full rotation at the beginning or just a few sailings after his long duties at the yard?

Captains normally do a 10 week on 10 week off rotation. From the list above it looks like it will be Capt Rune Johnsen.

The dates for Quantum and Anthem were picked several months ago, based on the estimates from Royal Caribbean at that time. The spreadsheet that Wolfcathorse uses to track the many Captain updates had to have a date in order to work properly, so those guesses were used. I'm sure she will update them as the real data commences, and her posts will reflect the changes as quickly as they are reported. :)

We are just off of Vision. The new Capt. Marek is very sociable and admittedly enjoys hosting the captain's table. He had a table all 3 formal nights and dines early. I believe he will quickly become one of the more popular, well liked captains. Those in longer cruises will find out why. I won't ruin the surprise. (Or maybe it's out there somewhere) :)

Just got off Adventure today. Captain Ole told us he is moving to Brilliance as of now and Staff Captain Tony, sorry do not know his surname, is taking over permanently on promotion.

We return to Adventure on 12th October and are looking forward to it already:)

No, Stig Nilsen told me earlier that he would take the BR on the crossing before going on a (well deserved) vacation.

Perhaps he just wants to preside over one more Blue Nose Ceremony before going on vacation. :D We were hoping he would be back in command for the repositioning cruise out of Boston but that doesn't look feasible unless his well-deserved vacation is a very short one.
