Radio- yesterday you mentioned D+ tour in Boston- is this the free excursion that they normally only do on member cruises for D+ members?

The D+ Tour I mentioned is for the Bridge Tour and Galley Tour for tomorrow (Friday)

great pics of Boston, it is intwresting to see it form someone who has never been there, we go at least 3-4 x's a month, the kids love the science museum and we go to the aquarium ...and up to copley...i actually seem to have a better appreciation for it, seeing it from this perspective....THANKS....but the Carribean Princess has one more port call in the morning just a few miles south in "LITTLE RHODY"...specifically NEWPORT...cant wait for the Bridge TOUR..i hope you can post pic's....have a good night....;)

Radio,so glad that you enjoyed "my city":D Boston is really a place to be proud of. How did you like the Boston accent?

I loved Boston. . . I have actually been there twice before. Thefirst time was a port of call during a 2007 Bermuda/ Bostin from Bayonne itinerary on Explorer of the Seas. I sailed from Boston in 2009 on Norwegian Spirit too.

The Boston accent seems to be more pronounced with the baby boomers, and not so much for the teens. I liked it :)

Good morning from Day 9 of “LIVE” from Enchantment of the Seas. . . I slept in a little late this morning. I woke up at 6 today, and wandered up to the Viking Crown Lounge to write this post.

Today will include a lot of activities, as you may expect. From Cake Decorating to Final Tournaments. . .there will be many things planned for all types of passengers. I only have a few things planned, but will spend my last day at sea relaxing as I have a few month to go until my next “LIVE” report. (Explorer of the Seas in November)

The sail away yesterday seemed to bring more passengers out on the decks than has been usual for this cruise. I think it may be due to the weather. We had perfect sail away sun and warmth.

It turns out that I wont be trying the Jump Zone, as the maximum weight is 215lbs. . .Ooops. . .maybe I should spend a little more time in the gym?

I have a Galley Tour scheduled for this morning, and a Bridge Tour late today. In between I may take a walk down to Deck 5 at the Casino Royale to see how “Lady Luck” treats Radio today. So far she has welcomed him with open arms.

We are sailing at 19kts, and we will need to keep that speed, as we are scheduled to pick up the Pilot tonight at 10PM (Cape Henry, VA) We will then start our 9 Hour trip up the Chesapeake Bay. There will be some lucky passengers waiting there for us who will be going to my favorite port of Bermuda !

Here are a few pics form yesterday and this morning. . .

Thanks for tuning in!

I am really enjoying your live report. Pictures and reports are excellent. I was just wondering what the "Milestone Crystal" is. We are diamond on RCCL. Is this something you get for D+ or what they now call Pinnacle? I never heard of it or saw anyone get it. Thanks. And thanks for taking the time to do these reports. Have you ever taken a cruise without doing one? Have a great time on you last full day of this cruise. I know you hate to see it end. Maybe someday I will be lucky enough to sail with you when you do a "live" report.

Gwen :)

You can receive "Milestone" gifts when you are at 210, 280, 350 Cruise Points and every 70 points there after.(I think these numbers are accurate) I believe this is for Diamond Plus and Pinnacle.

I was at 280 Points. (not cruises)

The exact point structure is on the Crown and Anchor page, under Member Benefits.

Hello everyone. . . Today has been a warm day, with temps around 82F. The seas have been calm, as they have for the entire cruise. We ran into a brief (20min) shower earlier. Overall however the weather is very mild, and a lot of passengers are enjoying the sun out on the pool decks.

The Galley tour was only with 6 passengers, so it was nice to see the workings, and learn about how the galley team works together. I didn’t realize there were 7 Galley’s onboard Enchantment including Deck 4 MDR, Deck 5 MDR, Chops, 2 crew Galley’s, Windjammer, and Solarium.

It would be nice to be on a B2B cruise on Enchantment, as I would really like to go to Bermuda. I will wait until next year to see what is available.

Here are a few pics from around the ship today. . .

More pics later, and thanks for tuning in.

Hello everyone. . .Today has been a good day. Yes, it is my last day. . . but things went pretty well. It was my most relaxing day of the cruise.

Out on the pool decks this afternoon, the Pool Deck attendant crew was telling me how passengers were complaining this morning about how much colder the freshwater pool was from the saltwater pool. But in the afternoon when it gets hot outside. . .no one complains about the FW Pools. . . He said the only complaints that are received in the afternoon is the SW pool is real salty ! Oh well. . . Most passengers loved the pools. He also told us that the solarium pool is about 10 degrees warmer than the outdoor pools.

I was able to go on a wonderful Bridge tour this afternoon (5PM) It is usually held in the morning, but I was happy to be invited at any time.

2nd Officer Julio Marin took a lot of time to show us (very proudly) of the workings of the Bridge. He is very happy to be a part of the Team on Enchantment of the Seas . Our tour was almost an hour, and we were shown more than I can remember.

I will try to go to the Farewell show tonight, and I am very sure that I will find my way to Casino Royale.

We are getting close to Cape Henry, VA where the 2nd Officer told me will pick up 1 or 2 Pilots at 9:30PM tonight. This has changed from the original pick up schedule at 10PM. Between 10-11PM, I should be able to have cell phone coverage as we will be in the Norfolk, VA area.

Here are a few pics form today. . . I will try to get a few more tonight.

Thanks for the nice comments. . .
