Not on my computer either but phoned TA this morning to book a cruise later this year - Maasdam 30 November Collectors. I asked her would she check when she booked this about Canada New England on Maasdam next June. TA said she had thought that was what I was ringing her about and she had looked on the system before phoning me back and it was there - dates and rates. Presumably TAs have a diffeerent system to us. She told me the date - 8 June and the rate there and then.

Yes -- travel agents and all TA's do use a different system to view cruises and dates and itineraries.

My TA's site has just what HAL shows us ... nothing for Maasdam or Veendam in May or June 2013. Since the Maasdam sails on June 9 this year, I believe that by telling you June 8 she was looking at 2013.

 

Waiting now to see what Lisa Laffnvegas sees on Polar.

I can't find cruises beyond April 13 for Maasdam doing a cruise search. She does, however, show up on the Destinations Calendar through October.

She's on board the Maasdam, and not spending as much time on here as usual. Yesterday she should have been at St Johns Antigua, and today at HMC.

Glad to hear Maasdam stays in fleet.:) Sad to hear that Veendam will not be doing at least a few Canada cruises from NYC.:( A couple of Eurodam cruises from here is all the bones that HAL is throwing us next year....

I was hoping that Veendam would sail out of New York -- much easier for us to get there.

One thing I do not like about the Veendam schedule -- if you do a back-to-back like we do -- then you have 3 nights in Quebec City. As much as I like Quebec City - we have been there several times -- I do not want to spend 3 nights there when there are other ports that the ship could stop at.

Yes they are showing but.... in booking it at least right now at this moment you cannot do a specific date to get it to pull up. (This could change later in the day) Could be just a glitch in the HAL booking system for me but I have to go to a way that pulls up all the itineraries for 2013 and viola, there they are for both Veendam and Maasdam. Plus the one I want to do on the Eurodam is now a 15 night rather than a 13 night with stopping in Port Canaveral :)

And of course happy to know Maasdam will be with us for a while longer. .AM I correct that both ships will be going from Boston? WOnder why?

I remember your posting that, Lisa. I will have to check out that 7 night trip. I for one don't think I'd be interested in doing up and back with an identical itinerary, even though we like 14 day cruises.
