jmrcruiser Posted October 19, 2012 #151 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Hi, we're doing back-to-back cruises on Allure this winter and I'm excited to hear and see your food experiences! One question - does Windjammer have dinner and how is it if you know? Good food choices or not? With 2 cruises we're considering not doing formal nights and eating in all the speciality restaurants and Windjammers for dinners.Looking forward to your posts!!! The Windjammer main courses match the MDR so you won't miss much...
Rare nbsjcruiser Posted October 19, 2012 #152 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Thanks very much for putting this together. I was very interested in the new menus and now that I can visualize the menus I'm pretty sure what I'll order on our upcoming cruises on the IOS and the MOS. Lorey2007 Posted November 5, 2012 #156 Share Posted November 5, 2012 Is the lunch menu in the MDR the same every day? We've never had lunch there but just might try it for the sugared chicken dish. Thanks for posting the photo's are fabulous.

nanwel Posted November 6, 2012 #158 Share Posted November 6, 2012 WOW! That is fab - looking forward to March 10th cruise - 5 of us, including 2 kids that hate getting the awful kids menu handed to them (Grandma takes them to too many nice restraunts). They will love the food as much as the adults. Thank you for taking the time to post this info for us to drool over!
redhead2503 Posted January 17, 2013 #159 Share Posted January 17, 2013 What is a beef slider? Its not a term I've heard before Sliders originally were White Castle Hamburgers. Now they mean any small burger or sandwich. Buns are only about 2" x 2", and are usually square

MisterBill99 Posted January 18, 2013 #163 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Is the lunch menu in the MDR the same every day? We've never had lunch there but just might try it for the sugared chicken dish. Thanks for posting the photo's are fabulous. Just back from Explorer last week. There seemed to be 3 lunch menus and they rotated. Very few items are the same on each menu. I had the sugar chicken dish and was not very impressed. It was a normal grilled breast of chicken (with the wing attached) topped with some fruit salsa. In fact, except for a couple of dishes (like the sliced duck breast appetizer), I was not real impressed with the food.
