For those who are interested in getting information on ship personnel and get it, I'm sure the rest of us would love it if you would copy and paste this list to a Word Pad document, print it out, take it on your cruise and fill it out (just ask anyone at the Front Desk where the pictures are) and then return the favor by copying and pasting to this thread. Thanks :)

 

Again, with the introduction of new mega ships from now through 2016, odds are great that staff will change.

I'll report back on my Spirit cruise in mid February for those who are interested. If anyone has current Spirit info applicable now I would be interested too.

To the best of my knowledge these 3 gentlemen should be aboard The Spirit for your cruise:

Captain Lars Bengtsson

Chief Officer Timur Butkovic

Food and Beverage Director Ivo Belev

 

I hope you have a wonderful cruise. I love The Spirit and Her staff.

If I remember correctly between the Library (forward Deck 12) and the door leading to the pool deck, there should be a very large picture on the wall with all the of the pictures, names and titles of staff. There is a smaller picture in the Bridge Viewing Room (all the way forward port side- left side) of all the Bridge Officers.

Dont particularly care about MaitreD hotel director or any of that stuff...Just got off the Epic and can tell you Ken Mills is CD and Simon Jukes is ACD until Breakaway launches when he will transfer there. Both were GREAT and Simon should be a CD as soon as they can possibly make it happen. Also Kaj (Kai?) was the hotel director.

LOL....and the CD and ACD make no difference whatsoever to me, but always like to know who is running the show.

 

They have so much more of an influence on the trip.

Always like to know who is the CD as they can make such a difference. Gary Glading is CD on the Jade. Excellent CD-definitely goes above and beyond. Seems to be at everything, whether it's dancing at the theme nights, or with all the single ladies at the ballroom dance sessions, singing in Le Bistro or the Italian restaurant, giving talks about the ports, language lessons, hosting morning coffee chats, farewelling and welcoming passengers embarking and debarking on port days and final debarkation. A friendly, lovely man. We called him Gary everywhere!
