Jakemedic Posted January 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Greetings! I did a search and didn't find anything recent (last was 2011). We are traveling out of New Orleans on the Navigator of the Seas and want to bring a case of bottled water and a 6 pack of 20 oz Pepsi with. Will RC allow that to occur? Thank you in advance for the advice. God Bless America!

However the rule is rarely enforced in the case of soda and water. They are more likely to enforce the rule around spring break.
sea shepherd Posted January 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2013 we always bring a 12 pack of pepsi with us. Just carry it on. I also buy the soda package. but sometimes you need a pepsi. A few cruises ago we brought a case of water with us put a luggage tag on it, And it showed up at the room with our luggage.

akcruz Posted January 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Why during spring break? Because of those trying to sneak other things in the bottles. Some think they will not notice if a bottle or two are re-sealed. More people tend to try this trick over spring break.
Clarea Posted January 24, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Why during spring break? I'm guessing they have more issues with guests smuggling alcohol in soda and water containers during the spring break period.
kingsgirl Posted January 24, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2013 As long as it's clearly not been opened, I should be fine right? I'm travelling during spring break and wanted to take some pop with me. Like, if it's cans I should be fine, right?
Merion_Mom Posted January 24, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 24, 2013 As long as it's clearly not been opened, I should be fine right? I'm travelling during spring break and wanted to take some pop with me. Like, if it's cans I should be fine, right? I would think so. It's a little difficult to open a can and reseal it and have it look unopened!
Jakemedic Posted January 24, 2013 Author #9 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Great thanks, rare opportunity as we are driving down versus flying in, no reason not to save some bucks by bringing pepsi products with and a case of water for my bride.... vegasgirl6 Posted January 24, 2013 #10 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Can you carry your own Pepsi or Water to the buffet and just get a glass of ice and pour your own? Or out to the pool?
trev71 Posted January 24, 2013 #11 Share Posted January 24, 2013 I am a Diet Pepsu addicted, There is no way or room for me to bring pop with me on the ship. It would be a nice idea though, i can stick with the pop package for a week no problem..
