Ships with Diamond Lounges ???

Recommended Posts

We are reaching a Legend of Seas for cruise in Jan 2014 and need to know if they have a dedicated "Diamond Lounge".

Anybody know for sure?

How about a lick to list of ships with Diamond Lounges in case we switch ships?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, Legend now has a DL.

Ships without DLs: Majesty, Monarch, Brilliance, Vision, Navigator, Adventure, Voyager, Explorer, Jewel.

100% accurate - but note that Brilliance will have one installed while in drydock next month (April).

All ships fleetwide that don't already have them - with the exception of Majesty and Monarch - will have them once they complete their upcoming refurbishments.

Which for a few ships is still several years away....:(

I wouldn't base my decision on a ship due to the DL or lack thereof..on Explorer, they held the event at the 19th hole and we have had many a great evening meeting others. HTH.

Explorer is not scheduled to get a Diamond Lounge until January of 2014 which, when added, will have the same amenities as the Concierge Lounge.

You experienced a Diamond Event that only offered complimentary wine, champagne and soft drinks with all other drinks available at 25% off their regular price.

There are many Diamond Members that look forward to ships with Diamond Lounges on them because of what is offered during the day and in the evenings.

I think Monarch is done cruising the end of March 2013. Was it not sold?

April 1st is the end of Monarch's last cruise with RCI. She is being transferred to RCCI's subsidiary Pullmantur. We will be there on her last RCI week to bid farewell to friends on the crew and cruising buddies we have met because of her through the years :)

Despite not having a Diamond Lounge the Diamond Event was always well attended due to great folks like Desmond and Malcum!
