Sarah I so want to go on a cruise with you!!!!! Every year we are one week away from each other........

I remember the first year you sailed Celebrity and your old avatar phot with green hair or a wig....it is hard to see because they are small........i assumed it was a St. Patrick's day photo:)

We both started sailing Celebrity the same year and eveytime you asked a questions I was like "right on...I love this girl!!", bcasue youwere always asking what I was thinking:)

I literally get off every year as you are getting on.........and its the same ship no less!!!!!

Awwww well thank you! Yes it was a St Patrick's Day photo gotta show my Irish pride :)

I agree 100% we need to sail together, I am sure it would be the best ever!

I need to get over my fear of flying because I really would love to do the Repo Summit Sailing!

Do they allow you to bring your own sous-vide immersion heater and Pacojet? I may have to compete in this event.

Yep, first 3 are Alinea, second is perhaps L20? and I could have sworn the last is also Alinea.

I'm from California, so have only visited Chicago restaurants a few times...perhaps I should post some Manresa and French Laundry pics, or perhaps some Sukiyabashi Jiro.

islandchick is my DW. All of the pics were taken with Panasonic DMC-FZ35K. It has a macro mode (1cm minimum focus distance) for close-up food pics.

Thanks for all of those who have shared thus far in this thread. I will be sailing with Celebrity for the first time this December and you are helping me look forward to our trip even more.

I know that it is not Celebrity food, but I recently finished posting reviews with many food photos of the new menus in the MDR on the Oasis of the Seas. Here is a link below for all of you foodies out there in case you want to check it out.

The first one after Alinea is actually French Laundry's sister restaurant, Per Se. The bottom two are Eleven Madison Park.

I am heading out to San Fran in a few months to do some eating. :)

Did you go to Sukiyabashi Jiro? That would really be an amazing experience.

Here's several pictures of food from just before the cruise (the night before) in Sydney and also the Cafe El Bacio cake display window and a Shrimp Platter which a friend ordered and had delivered to the cabin so we could sit on the balcony as we sailed out of Sydney Harbour.

Belgian beer battered fish and chips at the Heritage Bar and Grill in The Rocks, Sydney (Belgium Beer Cafe)

I know several people who've been on Carnival....all I hear from them is complaints about the food.

Azamara is wonderful too. Wish now I'd taken pictures. Everything we had was absolutely delicious.

Can't wait to experience X's food.

Great pictures but The Porch presentation seemed very bland. Is that normal?

Where were food photos of The Porch?

Bland? Well, The Porch has Paninni's.....some salads too....desserts as well.

Can't remember the whole menu. I have eaten there a couple of

times before. It is not exoctic but as for bland? Guess it would

depend on what you like. I enjoyed my food:)
