Rare Port Power Posted November 8, 2016 #427 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Cabin: 8024 (V1) Ship: Azamara Quest Sailed: September 2016 Would you choose this cabin again: Yes Was noise an issue? Not at all. Nothing heard from pool deck above as midships and furniture is not moved around except for White Night. Balcony: Normal Any other comments: Bathroom also compact but you get used to it. Nevertheless plenty of storage in bathroom as well as cabin.
Rare Port Power Posted November 8, 2016 #428 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Cabin: 4034 Inside Accessible Cabin Ship: Azamara Quest Sailed: Sep/Oct 2016 Would you choose this cabin again: Yes Was noise an issue? No. There was some bumping above at night but once we realised the casino bar kitchen was above us with the dishwasher being used, we hardly ever noticed. Any other comments: Bathroom was huge! Storage was minimal though so we used the shoe holder over the door. Perfect! Learned not to put bath mat on floor during shower as water drained away very nicely without it. Modern basin was so shallow I bought a bucket to use for hand washing. Lots of storage in main cabin and we moved sofa to door side of desk and table into corner. Suited us better that way. sparty1 Posted November 8, 2016 #429 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Cabin: #7047, mid-ship, Starboard veranda Ship: Journey Date sailed: Oct-Nov, 2016 Choose this cabin again? Yes Noise an issue? No Balcony size: Normal Other comments: Plenty of storage in both the small bathroom and living area. If even a small amount of light wakes you, I'd bring the 2 sided velcro tape for the drapes(even though they are black-out drapes, and I was careful in pulling drapes' edges to the wall b4 bed, the light still comes in around edges) Did not bother husband, but guess I'm a light sleeper! Great room! Love the larger table on balcony for meals, too.
Hamburg Avon Lady Posted November 14, 2016 #430 Share Posted November 14, 2016 Club Continental Suite 8063 Lovely large space -- balcony with table and 3 chairs Plenty of closets with safe Deep drawers for bulky items Under the bed storage for luggage Bathroom with shower in tub (suites with even numbers have separate shower) -- three deep shelves above toilet -- just be careful lid is closed ! Butler service was outstanding -- tea and cakes/small sandwiches served every afternoon if desired. Food was quite good, too. Cons: Suite was under Window Cafe with annoying loud noises during the nite -- should have asked to be moved but ship was "sold out". Would I book again ?? Maybe but not for the $$$ I paid. :(

welwyngirl Posted November 16, 2016 #432 Share Posted November 16, 2016 We have been allocated this cabin and I see from previous posts it's considered noisy, due to being opposite a storage area with lots of early morning activity! Does anyone have any current experience of this cabin? It was mentioned the noise issue was taken up with Azamara so I'm wondering if there has been any improvement. If not, may try to change! Thanks. Lesley

Does anyone have any current experience of this cabin? It was mentioned the noise issue was taken up with Azamara so I'm wondering if there has been any improvement. If not, may try to change! Thanks.Lesley It is by the forward elevators so that might make it noisy, but if there is noise from a storage area, a complaint will get it fixed if it is fixable. Always bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to sound. The wax ones work the best.
Kruzngrl Posted November 16, 2016 #434 Share Posted November 16, 2016 We were in 7038 for two weeks last year, which I believe is across the hall from 7040. The noise that we encountered was from the housekeeping cart which was stationed outside our door. Several employees would gather and chat throughout the day, which became noisy. Hopefully the situation has been dealt with by now.
Diane&4girls Posted November 21, 2016 #435 Share Posted November 21, 2016 Cabin 9002, Spa Suite Ship: Journey Sailed:November 17, 2016 Would you choose again? Yes Is noise an issue? Yes, from the vrew access doors and the private hall door, sometimes until late at night but I would rather have this suite than one of the larger ones, which I've had! CYNSport Posted December 3, 2016 #437 Share Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) Cabin: 8043 Club Continent Suite Ship: Azamara Journey Sailed: November 2016 (27 days) Would you choose this cabin again: Maybe Was noise an issue? There were scraping noises from the pool deck every morning around 7 am and sometimes at night. This room was right under the juncture of The Patio tables and the first row of loungers, so rooms a little more aft may be quieter. We were on an itinerary heavy cruise, so we were not very bothered by the noise as we were up early most days. If we were on a more relaxed cruise, we might try a different location. Any other comments: This is a shower only room, which we loved. Excellent shower. We found the shelf space in the bathroom to be more than adequate. Loved the Club Continent Suite size and layout. Bed is on the forward wall in this room (so you are going "backwards" when ship is moving). Lots of storage for our needs including three deep drawers and an adequate closet. Butler Erlo was terrific (he kept our fridge full of sodas that we preferred and was very low key, which we also prefer). The cabin attendants were great also. Overall, we really liked the room. Location: Midship, Starboard side. Edited December 3, 2016 by CYNSport
santrah Posted January 1, 2017 #438 Share Posted January 1, 2017 Stateroom: 7089 (V2 grade) Ship: Journey Date of Travel: December 2016 I would stay in this cabin again. No noise whatsoever from lifts. As you enter the room the bed head is on your right (travelling feet first!!). Metal solid bulk head on right hand side on balcony. So made it very private and quiet. Super location for two levels down to Mosaiic and Discoveries and two floors upto Windows restaurant. Paintwork on balcony on the divider and drain on balcony quite rusty but I expect it will be sealed and painted soon!
DaveacBarker Posted January 7, 2017 #439 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Cabin Number: 6065 Ship: Azamara Journey Month/Year sailed: 23 Dec 16 Would you choose this room again Y/N: Y Is noise an issue Y/N: N Balcony size Normal/Larger/Smaller: No eyed deer. Would prefer no balcony ergo more indoor space Any other comments: Food and entertainment could have been better. Beer was never served cold enough. Land tours were outrageously expensive. Pool deck should have been cleaned better each night. QUOTE=uktog;37659193]In the spirit of moving forward, I would like to offer to help with some information on this board and maybe if it works, Andy would be happy to make a sticky out of the thread On the Celebrity board, there is a very useful spreadsheet kept up to date by one of the cruisers where others can search for information on a cabin. Here on Azamara, we have to try and search and trawl for information and I am offering to create and maintain with say forthnightly updates a similar spreadsheet. For it to work, everyone has to post information in a consistent way and also only use the thread to post information, not to engage in debate (pop over to the Celebrity board if you want to see more on how it works) For Azamara, I would suggest the information should be Cabin Number Ship Month/Year sailed Would you choose this room again Y/N Is noise an issue Y/N Balcony size Normal/Larger/Smaller Any other comments (keeping these succinct so the spreadsheet does not grow too much) How do others feel about this - if you think we do not need it here, please say, I will not be offended!!!! TeaBag Posted January 11, 2017 #440 Share Posted January 11, 2017 We are loyal Celebrity cruisers looking at Azamara for the first time. I have just gone through the entire spreadsheet compiled by uktog and marked on the deck plan the cabins people would not stay in again. I have found this extremely helpful and would like to thank uktog for all the great work.

Choose again - yes. Noise issues - none (2 cabins forward is access from staff to bridge). Location- near forward lifts, so easy access to pool etc. Month/year sailed - January 2017. Military Guy Posted February 5, 2017 #442 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I am sorry it has taken me so long but here is the updated spreadsheet.A small plea, if you want to ask others about a particular cabin do it on a main (non sticky) thread so we can keep this thread easy for people to find information about specific cabins Ann Forgive me I'm new, can't this file and updates be attached to the original post? Ill be honest it took me 10 minutes to find this spreadsheet. Thanks for your hard work. :-)

BuckGood Posted February 28, 2017 #445 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Hi anyone! We have booked Cabin 6086 on the Quest and when we booked it said No Obstruction but the same cabin on the Journey it says %30 obstructed, even Michael from Azamara says no obstruction, is there something different about these ships? Thanks!
2choose2cruise Posted February 28, 2017 #446 Share Posted February 28, 2017 According to the deck plans that I have it would be that the deck of 6086 on either ship, is adjacent to a wall of the Club World Owners Suite and their deck is not next to yours but at the stern end. On the upside you may have some "generous hospitable neighbors" who might invite you to join them for a visit to their Suite.

excitedofharpenden Posted March 1, 2017 #448 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Hi anyone! We have booked Cabin 6086 on the Quest and when we booked it said No Obstruction but the same cabin on the Journey it says %30 obstructed, even Michael from Azamara says no obstruction, is there something different about these ships? Thanks! Because of the shape of the ship structure, the last cabins on each side have a slanted cutout balcony opening, best illustrated by a photo (see below). This is the other side of the ship, but I've underlined the equivalent of your cabin. This is true for both Journey and Quest. I had a cutout balcony on deck 8. This was a Club Continent Suite and it's wider by a half again and it didn't bother me. A narrower V3 cabin will be more noticeable.
BuckGood Posted March 1, 2017 #449 Share Posted March 1, 2017 What I'm confused about is it says that Cabin 6089, which is the one in the photo is 30% obstructed but Cabin 6086, ours, is totally Unobstructed!
