Allure OTS - Ken Rush from Aug 17 through October 19 Then who? (Ken is moving to Quantum and Allan has left the company. Allure's new CD team is unknown at this time)

Serenade OTS - Mercedes LaFuente started on Sept 5 for 2 months; John and Katrina Blair expect to be onboard in early November

 

Splendour OTS - Simona Ferraiuolo (need dates)

 

Vision OTS - Steve Davis started on June 9 until October 4th, then Paul Rutter October 4 through December 12, then Steve Davis returns for 4 months

 

Voyager OTS - Lixin Fang began April 10 for the Asian season; Chris Brown (former activities manager) begins November 25 for the repositioning and for the Australian season. (Darryl Dyball will be activities manager beginning mid-September)

Leo Papa at Cornell University working on a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management

Anna Bass is now Client Services Manager at ISS London

Abe Hughes is Director of Port Revenue Operations at Royal Media Partners and sometimes works onboard as the port and shopping guide

João Pereira is studying Portuguese/English education and translation at Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas in Brazil

He posted it on "Allan Brooks is the best CD" Facebook page not his own.......I was really hoping it wasn't true as we are on the Allure on October 19th......now it is a mystery who we will have :confused:

 

I went to that page and saw it was from him :(

He was our favorite CD. We had him on Oasis and Freedom. We had Ken Rush on Allure and I was sorry we didn't get Allan there too. I wonder where he's going?

All I know is that even back in May, Joff indicated that he knew what was happening with Tim but wouldn't say what. From that, we thought it was either a move to Anthem with Joff (they do make a great team) or being made a CD. However, we don't know if it is permanent or just a temporary promotion to cover the last 2 UK sailings and the Transatlantic...

 

I guess an element of it is if they actually want to be CD and not Activities Manager. I haven't sailed with Darryl so don't know much about him.

We will be back on Rhapsody on 25th November and are glad to hear that you will on board then. Can you please tell me if Tanya and Ben will be on at the same time. My daughter loved her chats with Tanya and is really hoping she will be on.

 

Also is Ibby still on Rhapsody?

Allan Brooks just posted on Facebook that he has resigned from Royal Caribbean. :(:confused:

 

 

At last!! Public knowledge! I tried to hint it on the forum in a couple of threads, but no one picked up on it.

 

I knew it was imminent because Katie told me on my August 31st sailing that he was "done with cruise ships" and then realised her mistake and she said "I've said too much as it is." I got the impression he wants to focus on his businesses and his family back at home.

 

A loss to the company for definite.

Also, there was talk some time ago about Leigh Xuereb moving over to Allure when EX repositions (but then the talk reverted back to him returning to EX) so I wonder if that's still a possibility.

 

I'm just starting rumors here, but I hope someone will report concrete info back to us soon!

I'll go with this info for now, since it's really hard to get feedback from ships positioned in Asia! Anyway you've always given us accurate info in the past, so no reason to doubt you now!

I'm pretty sure Carly B is on the Voyager with Darryl D as AM . . . but you might want to get confirmation from someone sailing on this . . . .

Hi Donna. I just sailed the Allure Sept. 14th, I spoke to Ken Rush at the top tier event. According to Ken, Allan Brooks is leaving to take a postion in Celebrity's Corporate offices. Of Course Ken is going to the Quantum, surprising as it may seem he was not sure yet who is replacing him. He did mention the possibility of Joff Eaton coming to Allure next year (date unknown) but not late in the year. I know that goes counter to the info of Joff being the full time CD on Anthem. It might be possible that Joff will be on Allure for a short time before going to Anthem.

Thanks Eng23. The info that comes directly from Joff is that he is leaving Indy on Oct 25, and reporting to Anthem sometime in March. That's an unusually long break (5 months), so it is very possible that he can do a fill-in on Allure during that time.

Allure : Jerome to be CD with Michele (currently on Oasis) as Activities Director

Oasis : Ricky Mathews CD Nov 29 - Jan 24 whilst Drew Devine takes leave then returns.

Adventure OTS - Bobby Brown September 12 until mid December.

 

Allure OTS - Ken Rush from Aug 17 through October 19, then Jerome Sueur (Ken is moving to Quantum and Allan has left the company. Allure's new permanent CD team and rotation pattern is unknown at this time)

Anthem OTS - Joff Eaton will be taking out the ship and continuing on as its regular CD. Ken Rush will also be onboard for the first 6-8 weeks doing behind the scenes duties to provide a smooth take out

 

Brilliance OTS - Dru Pavlov June 28 through October 26, then Clo O'Connor begins on October 26

 

Enchantment OTS - Marc Walker from July 12 until Nov 17, (then who?)

 

Explorer OTS - Keith Williams August 28 until Nov 1. Leigh Xuereb expects to return to Explorer on Nov 1st for the repositioning

 

Freedom OTS - Casey Pelter started Aug 10 for 4 months, then who?

 

Grandeur OTS - Ricky Matthews from July 18 until October 16, then Mitch Merucci from October 16 until February 2015

 

Independence OTS - Joff Eaton May 17 through October 25, then Tim Connor (former activities manager). (This is Joff's last contract on Indy - after his vacation, he is headed to the shipyard mid-March to prepare for taking out Anthem on April 22, 2015).

 

Jewel OTS - Dennis Charles July 12 until mid November, then who? (Carly Boileau has been reassigned to another ship TBA later)

 

Legend OTS - Topi Ylönen started in July. Keith Williams starts in November.

 

Liberty OTS -Luke Aerowsmith begins on September 28

 

Majesty OTS - Carlos Torres (need dates)

 

Mariner OTS - Dan Whitney started July 30 (until when, then who?)

 

Navigator OTS - Jeff Arpin started Sept 21

 

Oasis OTS - Drew Devine July 19 through November 29, then Ricky Matthews November 29 until January 24, then Drew returns

 

Quantum OTS - Jimmy Rhodes will be taking out the ship and continuing on as its regular CD for 4 months. Ken Rush will also be onboard for the first 6-8 weeks doing behind the scenes duties to provide a smooth take out. (Zach Stratford will be the Activities Manager)

 

Radiance OTS - Mike Hunnerup from August 22 through November 5, then Amy Fickert returns November 5 for approx. 4 months

 

Rhapsody OTS - Ken Jones from August 1 until October 2, then Graham Seymour from October 2nd through Jan 28, 2015. Graham will return from his break for another contract in early April through early August.

 

Serenade OTS - Mercedes LaFuente started on Sept 5 for 2 months; John and Katrina Blair expect to be onboard in early November

 

Splendour OTS - Simona Ferraiuolo (need dates)

 

Vision OTS - Steve Davis started on June 9 until October 4th, then Paul Rutter October 4 through December 12, then Steve Davis returns for 4 months

 

Voyager OTS - Carly Boileau started mid-September (?) until Nov 25 then Chris Brown (former activities manager) begins November 25 for the repositioning and for the Australian season. (Darryl Dyball will be activities manager beginning mid-September)

 

Rich Edwards is currently recovering from surgery and resting at home. He will be returning in April 2015.

Allan Brooks left Royal Caribbean to take a position in Celebrity corporate office.

Richard Spacey will be CD on the Celebrity Summit Oct 21 - Nov 29, and is going back to ship life on Celebrity.

Becky Thompson works for Celebrity Cruises in their corporate offices in Miami.

Dave Chapman has left RCCL. He is taking an extended break, and then he will be moving over to another cruiseline.

James Andrews is a real estate agent in Sydney

Mike Szwajkowski is a Canadian Mountie

Leo Papa at Cornell University working on a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management

Anna Bass is now Client Services Manager at ISS London

Abe Hughes is Director of Port Revenue Operations at Royal Media Partners and sometimes works onboard as the port and shopping guide

João Pereira is studying Portuguese/English education and translation at Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas in Brazil

Kirk Detweiler is now CD with Silversea cruises.

Simeon Baker - married a dancer, had a baby girl and is a sales exec at a Porsche dealer in Saskatchewan

Matt Baker - Sim's brother - recently married and living in Wales. They bought a pub called the Tiddley

Kieron Buffrey - CD with Holland America

Tom Canosa - teaching 6th grade science in North Carolina

Peter Benfield and Johnny Osborne have emigrated to Thailand

Anthony Richards is living in Miami with his wife, and is working for Royal Media Partners as Manager Port Revenue Operations

Rico du Breil is now a CD with NCL

Paul Lancaster is no longer with RCI, and resides in England

Abel Jeney is International Manager at Kingswood Education and Adventure in London

Parker Cristan is living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - staging/choreographing for local theater

Obviously there are plenty of CC posters who follow, contribute, and read the list and contents...but you do the heavy lifting.

 

In a world where people have no hesitation to post complaints and negativity all over the Internet...please indulge me to let you know many of us appreciate your efforts.
