Depending upon the circumstances and what is going on that day during embarkation and what time you arrive etc (as well as other Pinnacle Suite guests), you could be escorted by Hotel Director, Concierge, and most anyone in between. :)

Hope you get to do your shopping........ You going to Galleria? :) Fun. I like it there.

I was going to shop downtown. I'll have to google the Galleria.

The one time we sailed in the PH was not to be forgotten. We had anytime dining and stood in the no reservations line. We got to the counter and we asked for a table for two. The guy looked at us with an expression that said "you and everyone else, good luck with that" and asked for our cabin number. When I told him, he literally jumped to attention, snapped his fingers at a waiter, and directed the waiter to take us upstairs (into fixed dining) to a table for two where we were informed it was ours for the entire cruise. Since we usually ate at the fixed times anyway, we just stayed at that table.

Enjoy that PH!

Great story!!

Thank you for sharing it.

What fantastic news! I just can't imagine how you are managing to work today:D Can I stow away with you??????

Not much is getting done today. Luckily for me mom and dad (my team lead and manager) are not in today. Seems like we are all in stalled mode today for some reason.

We have not always been escorted to our PS.

On the Rotterdam which has 4 PS cabins -- one of the shore side HAL reps escorted all 4 cabin passengers onto the ship at one time -- we had all arrived at the same time 11 AM. Where we scanned our ID cards, one of the Neptune concierges met us there and 2 elevators were waiting to take us all directly to the PS's.

On ships with 2 PS cabins -- sometimes both concierges come down and get us -- sometimes one will come and get us and the other will be waiting at one of the PS cabins.

Since I am now using a wheelchair -- an attendant takes us to the gangway, we scan our cards and he takes us up to the PS where one of the concierges is waiting for us.

PS people are the first ones to get on the ship -- usually it can happen as early as 11:15 if all has gone well with getting the ship down to "zero" count.

Thanks all. Just to be clear, my luggage does need to join me:D. No naked hot tub:eek:.

Oh my!:D Seriously, here's wishing your bags make it this time.

Once on a B2B we looked into the (then) PH and thought, "wow, as if". Congratulations and hope you truly enjoy it.

We had a discussion at work about going naked in the hot tub. My colleagues said they would do it. Most of them have not been on a cruise so don't realize there are cameras:D. Thank you for the good wishes.

Boy this is great for you, especially after what you went thru in Feb. Way to go girl! :D

Joyce is ready to jump a plane and join you. Now, with your knee, just ask for a wheel chair and get wheeled on board......

Now you know...once staying in the PH every cabin from here on out is never going to match up to this cruise??????

Hope you don't get lost in the cabin...bring your GPS!

Hey, I don't even want to go in there with only a bathing suit. I was thinking of a full length gown:D.

It's been a long road since that obstructed ocean view. Remember when we had the wine crawl in the penthouse ? That's still my best cruise. So much fun. Tell Joyce to hop a plane. It will be close. Don't you guys need another vaycay? I think I'll be ok to walk. It just gets sore pretty easily. I hope that 3 weeks from now I'll be back to exercising some or my surgeon is going to get hurt:D.

Hope he's good looking. ;-)

For sure. A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to dine with the second in command on the ship and about 14 others. He was so gorgeous I cried myself to sleep that night :D;). I vote for him:p.
