I think you might be thing of the review that Trainman 2 did last year. It too was an excellent review. Plenty of food porn.

I'm so glad you read my post. Yes that is who it was. I loved his photo's the ship, water and canal, and ports, but looking at the food shots before going to bed I almost lost it, to me that was not appetizing.

Radio and Mrs. Radio- thank you , thank you , thank you- what great pictures. Grandeur was my first big ship back in 1996, when she still smelled new and was by then one of the biggest ships in the world. That very first cruise on board Grandeur was very special and is the reason I still cruise! Wonderful how great they have kept her or better updated Grandeur!

Radio,

Your photos of the ship at the port in Bermuda are fantastic! I was hoping to get your permission to use one for my computer screensaver, to help pass the days until my November cruise.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks for your nice comments. ;)

Radio, I live on the Princess Cruises Board but occasionally pop into the Royal Board when I see your Live reports are under way. I have just read this latest one in one lengthy sitting-it was a page-turner.

Thanks for taking us all along on your cruise via your great photos and concise commentary.

Was wondering what your thoughts were on the new smoking policy....Trainman, as I'm sure you read, has cancelled all of his cruises with RCI and is now on his last one. We are booked on the Granduer Jan 21 and have had many discussions as to whether or not we should cancel....booked our dream suite 7150 for all the sea days just to find out now we will be unable to enjoy it as much as we would like but finally just decided to go for it and possible make this our last. Please folks, no bashing....just want to know how Radio feels.

I was wondering about your impressions of the CL, and any comments about the Suite Perks that are offered.....

I've done searches but cannot find much info for this ship.

The Concierge Lounge is very nice, and the same servers are available for the whole week. It is very quiet and relaxing there. I think I like the peacefulness much more than the Diamond Lounge down on Deck 6. The CL Lounge offers Excursion tickets without having to wait in line on Deck 5, and DVD rentals for Suites.

The D Lounge is still a Key entry lounge, but you can hear whatever is going on throughout the South Pacific Lounge.

Both Lounges have great coffee, and both Managers are very helpful.
