"LIVE" from Grandeur of the Seas - Aug 30, 2013

Hello everyone . . . Good Morning and Welcome to DAY 7 of “LIVE” from Grandeur of the Seas.

I had my final dinner in the Great Gatsby MDR last night, and it was wonderful to see the waiters and staff I have with all week. The meals there were always wonderful, and I will miss the delightful dinners I have enjoyed there.

I went to the Farewell Show last night, and it appears that our Cruise Director, John Perry had to leave while we were in Bermuda, so the Activities Mgr (Daryl) was filling in. I am sure he will be a CD very soon. They of course brought out many of the Staff, Dancers, Singers and Officers that we have met over the last week. It was a nice send off for passengers.

The final Centrum Wow show was late last night and I was able to enjoy these artists for the final time. I think they saved the best Centrum Show for last, so you may want to see the final show.

I still have lots for photos to post and many things to scan. I might even watch the news for an hour or two. Thank you so much for all of the very nice comments. . . I hope I was able to put a smile on a few faces over the last 7 Days. I can tell you that I smiled a few times.

I almost forgot to say “Thanks for tuning in”

Thanks Radio and Mrs. Radio, for allowing us along on your cruise. I really enjoyed it. Next month is my turn. Now I know what to look forward to as far as the ship goes. I will be heading north to NE and Canada though, so a different itinerary.

BTW, that was a very nice picture of the two of you. Lovely couple. Always nice to put a face to the names.

Thanks again and happy sailing in the future.

Gwen :)

Thanks Radio for your excellent report.

In 6 weeks we'll be aboard (along with cruzinlady1947 and a few more!). It will be our first time on Grandeur, but it feels like we know her already from your photos and posts.

Pleased you and Mrs Radio had a good time :)

Looking forward to your next review!

Thank you, Mark, for another great "Live from" trip report. I'll be looking forward to the rest of your photos.

And a big thank you to Mrs. Radio, for allowing us to share in Mark's cruises all these years!

It was so nice to see a photo of the two of you!

Another Thank You, it is lovely that while on vacation you enjoy posting all the pictures and talk about the ship. Our first on Grandeur coming up in less then 10 days. Interested in comparing this to the Vision that we were on in Jan.

Radio, are you the one that posted last fall on the B2B through the Canal. If so that was enjoyable, weather you another person that enjoys doing what you do.

Thank you again, and you made it sound like leaving from Baltimore is a breeze our first try at it.

Very nice looking couple; does she enjoy cruising as much as you do? I absolutely am addicted to your live threads. Thanks so much for doing this. Enjoy your final night and can't wait until your next live.

Shirley

Glad to read I'm not the only one addicted to CC. I have enjoyed following 3 blogs on the World cruise of the Amsterdam 2012 and 2013. Maybe you would like that.

2 blogs posted very nice pictures, One was on their 9th so no pictures, i guess you slow down after that many.

Radio,

Thanks, again, for providing another excellent "Live" report of your cruise, and a special thanks to Mrs. Radio for sharing you with us while you spent time and $$$ to post your excellent photos and texts along the way.

Cheers!

Thanks, Radio for the great report. Enjoyed all of the wonderful pictures. Grandeur looks like she is in great shape and I hope to sail her out of Baltimore in the near future. Bermuda is one of my most favorite sailings and you really captured some great moments. Chris and Carl

Thanks for the great job!!!!

I think you might be thing of the review that Trainman 2 did last year. It too was an excellent review. Plenty of food porn.

Hello everyone. . . Debarkation was a little delayed today for some reason. I was expecting the last number to be called at 9:30AM, but they did not do a "Final Call" for Radio to leave the vessel until about 10:20.

I left the ship at 10:30 and was in my car by 11AM. I only had a short drive home, so it wasn't a concern for me. After lunch today I turned on the News, and well. . .you know the rest. Yawn. . . I really needed a 2 hr. snooze. . .

Thanks for all of the very nice comments. . . I still have to post photos, scan images, and start to prepare for my next cruise in 56 days.
