Oceanwench Posted December 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2013 The Monsters of Rock cruise in March is using HMC as its "Monster Island." http://monstersofrockcruise.com I am guessing no HAL ships will be stopping by that day!
CruiserBruce Posted December 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2013 HAL never goes there when any other line uses the island.
Krazy Kruizers Posted December 10, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2013 They must be paying a really BIG fee to use HMC. I have never heard of MSC using HMC. I would hate to be on a cruise ship stopping there right after that group.

The island is kept in pristeen condition and I'm sure HAL has set some rules down - and any clean up necessary will be done :)

The caretakers on HMC will have the island in its usual beautiful condition when MSC arrives and after they leave. :)

Different generations. I was meant to go to the original in '69 but was asked to put in some extra hours on my summer job. Working my way through university, that was more important than just another concert. Sigh. If only I had known!!!!

Oceanwench Posted December 11, 2013 Author #11 Share Posted December 11, 2013 My comment about a HAL ship was rather tongue-in-cheek. A typical HAL cruise wouldn't have a whole lot of Tesla and Ratt fans. :p I've seen both HMC and Great Stirrup Cay on MSC Divina itineraries. Not my cup of tea... but someone is sure into it. I looked at your link and the whole cruse is almost completely sold out.
Oceanwench Posted December 11, 2013 Author #13 Share Posted December 11, 2013 There's a cruise for almost everyone! Most of those musical theme cruises sell out quickly.
