can't wait to read MORE!!

Your enthusiasm for Century is palpable!!

We have never sailed on her, but once X announced she is leaving the fleet, we couldn't resist finding a cruise to take on her!

Can you possibly find out who will be CD in August? We hear that Rich Cleason is there now and we would love it if he were staying thru the Alaska season!

Hi:)....I had booked Solstice to Alaska but changed this morning to sail

CENTURY one more time.......my last opportunity before she leaves the

fleet.

Beth, is it all perfect? No, but the positives definitely outweigh the

negatives (for ME anyway):D

Well, Celebrity, again as you are getting rid of your older ships...:( you are forgetting those of us who still love the smaller, ships where the crew seem friendlier and the officers more accessible! We also sailed and loved cruising on the Horizon, the Mercury from Philly and Baltimore! There are still those of us who would rather sail on the smaller class ships and sorely miss the fact that some of our previous ports are no longer visited by most cruise lines because of the current size of the ships. This summer we will miss docking at St Georges and Hamilton when in Bermuda on the Summit...the ship is too da--ed large! I am aware that we can catch a ferry boat to Hamilton but it is not the same!Next thing I guess is: that we can expect is that the Millennium class ships will be on the chopping block!

I loved the Century also. If you happen to walk by the Cova and see our son, Jordan Peterson performing, tell him "HI" from his parents!! Have a great time on this awesome old ship.

He provides the best entertainment on board..

Hey Lois

Glad you are having a great time! Nice to hear about Celebrity providing you with some eye candy entertainment. I thought the Capt. of the Century was ashore getting married. Tell us more about which officers and entertainment are on board.

Tony and angie x:D

Are the Azamara's ship too small for you? it does seem like it is the "mid ship" size ships that are leaving. I guess the Millennium class used to be the large ships and now it is the new mid size ship.

In San Juan till 2 today and tomorrow we are in Grand Turk:)...looking

forward to that one as I have never been there before.

As to the posts about Bermuda/Azamara? I LOVE Summit:) and went to

Bermuda last summer and taking the ferry is a lot of fun:D (for ME

anyway). Azamara? They are wayyy out of some folks pricepoint

(me).

I am sailing Century one more time this coming summer though....going

to Alaska on my final voyage on her..........

Crew and staff great...officers very visible.....Capt is really nice and

eye candy too:D:p:);)

I assume your Captain is George Iatrou. He was our Captain on the 15-day Century Hawaii cruise from San Diego in Feb 2013. He is very personable and made a point to be visible and accessible to passengers throughout the cruise. When we asked about his family he proudly said he had two sons. The next evening he brought photos of them to the Elite event to show us.

So will Jordan be on board Century for the Alaska season, too? :)

Sorry, his time on the Century is over on March 21st....then back on the Summit from May-September....then on the Millenium in 2015!
