So my husband just discovered that our cruise leaving March 3rd is a SPRING BREAK CRUISE! OMG! I was wanting to go enjoy ourselves and RELAX! I have a feeling that will not happen. I wanna enjoy my vaca not watch a bunch of college kids run around half naked yelling! Anyone been on one before? Am I wrong in my assumption? HELP!!!!!

Thats a bit odd. We have been on 2 cruises during that time of the year and never had any issues with "spring breakers" I always thought it was to early for spring break but if not it was not noticed on my 2 cruises in the first week of March. Funny this is when we have liked cruising the most.

Made the same "mistake" last year and I was nervious too. We went on a 4 night out - Monarch - and had a really fun time. The cruise was very lively but the college kids were mostly fine. They were all up late which was nice for casino action. We rarely go to the club when we cruise alone (we are in our early 30's). There was a ton of drinking and definite package purchasing. Like I said, it was a fun fun cruise but I probably wouldn't do it again. I would say not to worry!

Most colleges take Spring Break in March...have for decades. There are some that wait until April.

We considered taking our cruise schedule for August during March but when I googled "When is spring break 2014" a travel site showed up on that had a list of colleges and the dates they were on spring break. There are A LOT that take their break early in March.

We were on the Monarch during a Spring Break cruise that had an entire Senior high school class, as well as the usual college breakers. We didn't really have any trouble; just avoided the pool deck central area. There's plenty of places to relax all around the decks.

We were on another cruise last year during the end of Spring Break that was packed with families with small children. We didn't have a problem except the very last day when EVERYONE was in the promenade, racing around trying to get last minute stuff done, and it pretty much looked like a daycare center. We just avoided traveling through the promenade that day.

Cruise ships are big. There's always a way to adjust your location to avoid what you want.

We've done a spring break cruise for the past four years (leaving on Saturday for this year's), and while there are a lot of college kids on board, we've never had any difficulty or felt at all uncomfortable. At least when college kids run around half naked they fit in their bathing suits:D

We sailed on Spring Break for our wedding cruise on Liberty three years ago... It was a fun crowd but no one was disrespectful or out of control. If you are worried about it, go to bed early and wake up early and you won't even see them! lol :-)

All of March and April can be considered "spring break"....different states, counties, and school districts "break" at different times.

No worries...ship's sail pretty much full ALL OF THE TIME....you won't notice a difference in the number of fellow passengers.

That said, shorter cruises tend to have more "partiers"...longer cruises are not as frantic!

A lot depends on where you are leaving. Here in our area Spring Break is March 10-14, week before and after for around the state. We've been on a couple of spring break cruises and have never had problems with wild young adults.

We did the 5 day Liberty cruise a couple years ago. The ONLY problem we had was in Belize ... I don't think the kids were college, but unsupervised high schoolers. It's probably too late to worry about it ... just spend your time relaxing in the Solarium.
