Everything.. ESCAPE (live 29 Oct 2015!)

Recommended Posts

I booked this today at first on a comp I had for a balcony through CAS. Cost would have been $4120 and I would only get to pick one choice add on, as that didn't seem fair to me since I was paying for the upgrade, she looked at my tier discount as a 7*. This price was $3900 with the OBC, UBP and UDP. So I went with this. I am still on the fence on the Haven suite type, Spa, Haven Penthouse Suite, or Forward Facing Penthouse.

Do you think I would be able to change the Haven cabin choice after this Sat and still retain the Choice Plus?

Can you use onboard credit in the casino?

Here are several visual aids that demonstrate the difference in bridge window width. I highlighted the stanchions in red. Not only are there fewer windows, the very front of the cockpit will have an extra-wide window.

I also highlighted the basin for the hydrotherapy pool in blue. Another poster speculated that the location of the pool was moved (based upon renderings), but clearly it will be located in the same position as the Breakaway Class.

If you lose your casino at sea card is there any way to get a replacement?

Yes, just go to the Casino Host and she'll get you another one. They also have a 'lost and found' for CAS cards and they may have it there if someone turned it in.

I just booked the Escape 4 days ago for Dec 5th. ALL of the oceanview are sold out and zero connecting rooms are available. I did have a Family mini on deck 9 midship but moved up to a mid ship mini on deck 10. I am having a hard time trying to find the difference. I want a Pullman and a convertible bed . My active kids are not a good match for a upper berth. Anyone have any info on the minisuites?

We had a midship minisuite on the Getaway, and the only difference was the larger walk in shower, and the bathroom in general...everything else was identical to a regular balcony. Hope that helps

BarnacleBoy, can you share a link for the pictures of the ship being built? My kids and I would love to follow the progression as we get ready for our Thanksgiving 2015 cruise. Thanks

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a cruise between the 8th & 11th November?

After she makes the TA cruise. All I can find is the next one on the 11th a 3 day one.

I'd like to add on to the TA if possible, but I have a feeling it stays in port. Meaning we'd have to disembark and enjoy Miami :):( before the next one on the 11th.

The 11th is the first one out of Miami. I'm already booked for that cruise maybe I'll see you there

There is a 3 night on the 8th out of Miami that goes to Great Stirrup Cay and then a day at sea before her first 7 night sailing on the 11th :)

Nope you are wrong .... ;)

The 3 nights out of Miami to GSC is on the 11th Nov, followed by the first 7 night sailing on the 14th Nov.

The days between the 8th and 11th Nov is for the christening and sampler CTN for the travel agents, VIPs, etc etc. (the usual)

She arrives in Miami on a Sunday, and the regular sail schedule is Sat. to Sat. They do all the festive stuff and the 3 day cruise while they get her to the proper date to begin the regular sail schedule.

You just go to the Casino at Seas Desk and the casino and they will replace, if you lose your drink card however, I've been told they will only replace once!

Yes - by either getting a pin to your CAS card (not all ships newer ones) as you can just charge money to your card and use a pin to download cash, you can always print the ticket out and cash it. If the ship doesn't use the pin system you go to the Cashier in the Casino and get a room charge for your OBC or less and your OBC will cover, do know they charge 3% for these types of transactions. So if you take your full credit you will have to pay the 3%

NP Bugsy. If there was a 3 day cruise to GSC on the 8th Nov, we'd have booked it and stayed on ship after the TA crossing. So we are booked to come home on the 8th.

HOPEFULLY, the ship will sail into Miami later than 8am - and in style!! We can't wait! Our flight is not until later afternoon.

They posted a YouTube video for one of the shows. Am I allowed to post youtube links?

Yes, CC allows YouTube links (unless for content is inappropriate for some reason).
