I am not sure I understand how it works. We are Gold members (2 x 7 days) and each time we received a $200. coupon in our stateroom. Where we lucky to get that?

I think that you mean that on each cruise that you have taken, your travel agent has given you $200 in OBC. There is a card waiting in your cabin telling you this.

BOGO is also used by stores in the US. It could be buy one get one free or buy one get one half off, etc.

One of our cruise mates is now widowed & sailing with us again next week on the Serenade. We had planned on Chops 1 night and Giovanni's on another - can she split the BOGO between the two?

Let me say that it is usually allowed to split the BOGO between two nights, though that is totally up to the staff onboard, and I have read that it can be refused. I suggest you speak to the restaurant folks before you make reservations.

Thanks - that's about what we figured. Thought our best bet at getting a good resolution was waiting until the first afternoon when they are (usually) really pushing reservations for the specialties.

I'm a little gutted as I only need one more night to become Platinum, maybe if I speak to them very nicely when I go on the Indy in June I'll get something nice, particulary as we're looking to book again once on board! :)

RCCL changed our level on a cruise once. We were booking a future cruise and they changed our level in their system so we could get the greater balcony discount on that future cruise. They couldn't do it, they had to call some one else to do it, I assume they called Miami....

 

We didn't ask for anything related to that next level during the current cruise, only wanted the balcony discount.

When you do an on board booking, all balcony discounts are applied by C&A in Springfield, Oregon.
