DonnaK Posted May 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2014 I don't believe that there is a limit. We booked 3 cruises while onboard Allure, and was considering another - there was no mention of a limit at that time.

Daghis Posted May 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2014 I've heard a limit of three per person. I was under the impression that there was a limit of three open bookings, but I didn't think there was any limit on specific cruises. That may be an important distinction these days since the onboard credit benefit is far better if you can book specific cruises while onboard. beachnative Posted May 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2014 (edited) If it is "Open Booking" that you are referring to, it's 3. If it is actual cruises, we recently booked 10 at one time. Friends of ours that we just cruised with booked 17 and another 24. I don't think that there is a limit. We currently have 34 booked and have 3 "Open Booking" certificates. happicruzer Posted May 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Have often read of large family bookings made on board, even six-seven bookings made. I believe that the 'limit' applies more to the Next Cruise bookings (IMO nearly worthless now). Our paperwork did put a limit of four per cabin. Back when, booked NCs in my name only ($100 deposit vs 2 names and $200 deposit) and some in spouse's name only (to get around the cabin limit). When making a true ship booking, I did have to pay the additional $100 deposit - better than paying $900 or so for each of the next three bookings! The good about onboard bookings is the reduced deposit and some OBC. Just remember, down the line do NOT cancel the booking should you need to make a change - just move out the ship/date to a future (possible) cruise date to keep the OBC (you may lose any current promotions similar to BOGOHO). You will be refunded the deposit should you cancel. The Next Cruise deposit is marked as non-refundable.

loubetti Posted May 23, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Yes, open bookings is a different story, but real cruises is another. If you have the money, they'll probably let you charter the ship. Never forget, all the cruise lines think about everyday is the money.

Merion_Mom Posted May 23, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 23, 2014 You can only buy three Next Cruise Certificates........but they suck now anyway. You can book as many cruises as you can pay for! ;)
