Happy Canada Day !

Remember the Molson Canadian commercial a few years back where the beer fridge would only open if someone scanned a Canadian passport? Well they've done it again, this time with a new twist. I don't want to spoil it by telling you the twist. Enjoy!

(I'm not sure if Cruise Critic will allow me to post this link.)

know all the words to oh canada? check!

bring it on! happy canada day!

I was born in Toronto and in spite of living in California for decades, I do know all the words to O Canada. And in French, too! I was once on a cruise on Canada Day, and our dinner companions were Canadian. We toasted and sang (except for DH, the American, who can't remember any of the words) and had all the other Canadians in the dining room singing along. It was so great. And oh how I love Molson ads! Happy Canada Day, guardians of the True North!

that would give me goosebumps!

I am old enough that I know the old words to o canada.

I was on parliament hill in 1980 as a teenager when they decreed the 'new' words we sing today (the ones in the Molson ad).

my favourite moment today was when the royal canadian artillery band played o canada and all of us picknickers stood, removed hats and sang along. it seems we don't have much of a chance to be so outwardly patriotic and this made me very proud.

Me too. :D:D I always wondered when they changed the words.
