Favorite Ship and Favorite Port.

I saw this thread on RCI and I wondered what NCL forum CC members considered their favorite NCL ship and port.

 

Please only NCL ships and ports.

 

My favorite ship did not go to my favorite port while I was on board.

 

Ship: Pearl and Port: Edinburgh

Favorite Ship - NCL Sun

Favorite Port - Ketchikan, Alaska

Barcelona favorite port (but I'm cheating as we stayed a few days before and after so really got to enjoy ourselves without time concerns)

 

Breakaway, really relaxed and enjoyed ourselves on this ship

A lot of people will pick out of the one or two ships they have been on which skews voting. Love to hear from those who have several to choose from... I am still working on that!

 

So... My fave is Sun (have been on 3 NCL ships plus Norway).

 

Naples because of Amalfi.

Favorite port: Tortola, because it's a great place to pick up a catamaran to Jost van Dyke.

Ship: Getaway though Epic is seriously a very close second

 

Port: Really unfair to pick just one but I'm going with Curacao. Absolutely amazing island and one I can't wait to visit again. I would book based solely on an itinerary with Curacao regardless of line, duration or season!

Seriously, I would have to say Ketchikan. We have a lot of great memories there.

 

My favorite NCL ship is the GEM and I see you chose the Star (which I am doing a TA in April)

The Pearl is the sister ship to the GEM....please tell me why you like the Star so much as compared to the Pearl.

 

Oh yes, my favorite port....Barbados (Crane Beach...the most beautiful beach in the Carribbean!!) :) :)

I have been on the Dawn, Gem, Epic and the Breakaway so far.

 

The Dawn... I have sailed her 6 times not since they have did the remodel.

The Breakaway.... I have sailed once

The Gem... I have sailed twice

The Epic.... I have sailed once.
