Big discounts on Rhapsody and a few others last year as well, hence why Rhapsody left.

 

 

 

Individual prices weren't as great as now, but we're getting bigger discounts than the US now so I'm not sure what's up... that won't last long.

 

 

So we might as well grab the specials whilst we can.

 

In the last couple of days I have noted that they have these super special prices for cabins but they must only have a couple at that price. You have to be quick or its gone

Just saw a fabulous deal on a big Oz cruise site..

 

Pacific Princess

18 night Sydney to Hong Hong departing 12 Feb

Balcony BE - $1495 each (yes 1495... That is not a typo!,)

Killer deal!!!

 

 

Had to be quick to get this one.....it has gone already!!

We did!!!! :):) Thanks for the tip Fletch, very grateful. Stayed up half the night after I saw your post working out if we could really afford it. Did some creative bookkeeping and we are now paid and confirmed. I'm sure it must have been a typo on their part.

 

It was a lot cheaper than the double upgrade to a balcony for Legend next year Brisb to HK- now cancelled :D:D

I like hearing back that people booked a cruise based on what posters on this thread have posted for deals.

 

 

Sarah- you have cost me a fortune in last minute cruises..... My son must love you. At aged 6 he's a cruise addict and platinum with RCI.... Might be diamond by the time he's 6.

In all fairness its the many contributitors who post deals who have saved us all money in 2015.

 

Look forward to hearing all about the great deals in 2016

The Pacific Princess mega cheap balcony deal to Hong Kong was back up last night I put all our details in to book and at the last minute .... closed the browser..... :eek: ...almost forgot important appt in late Feb....oops.... our loss lovely little ships....best cruise ever for us was 3 weeks on the Ocean Princess.

 

Have a feeling the person who last week announced the "big sale" has been somewhat silenced ..........lololololol...... maybe tomorrow Sarah...;)

Loved the country club atmosphere, almost everyone knew everyone, our evenings in the casino bar were a fantastic family affair .... there was not one thing to not love about this beautiful ship or her dreamy Captain..... Stefano Ravera...sigh.....lololol.......he had us reciting mass with an Italian accent within 2 weeks......lololol... our CD best ever ....loved her welcome back to the ship hugs ..... in hindsight maybe I should have continued with the Pacific Princess booking and rescheduled the appt.........:D:D

 

 

 

 

I asked a well known online TA this morning whether the sale was a myth. They laughed. Translation something happening tommorrow. I think they have all been told no leaks.

Stefano Ravera was our Captain years ago on the beautiful Pacific Sky as he always called it.

The two little girls are getting to be middle aged ladies!

 

As some will know the two have 6 other sisters - the R Class built for Renaissance Cruises in France between 1998 & 2001. All are 30,277grt.

 

R1 & R2 - built 1998 - Insignia & Regatta

R3 & R4 - 1999 - Pacific Princess & Ocean Princess

R5 - 2000 - Nautica

I've heard there is another a new worldwide Celebrity Sale starting on the 4th Jan.

Thanks for the heads up.

 

The fb page which is meant to be for hot deals has just turned into ta's peddling and touting for business. I used to post there and here deals any hot deals I found but I will only be posting here from now on.

Yeah spoiled it somewhat......mind you i can hold my own when it comes to a certain "look at me" wannabee..... :D:eek::D:D was ready with figures to show just how much one CAN save by not booking his "bargain" fly-cruise-stay package.......i left the group and like you will stick to posting here :)
