We did Hawaii to Vancouver in April, it would be interesting to go the other way. Enjoy that Aft cabin and keeps those pictures coming. I also look forward to your opinions on the wifi. I am assuming they have not installed the new O3B internet on there yet, just the unlimited wifi.

Went to the casino with Marie so she could play her usual $20 on the slots. Five minutes later she cashed out $204. I told her she can use her own $20 from now on.

I would be interested in recommendations from you both as to which itin is better. I'm assuming better weather/sailing to Honolulu? Looking at this as our big cruise possibility for 2016. We are now try to do at least one cruise a year that is not Caribbean itin.

I have not done the reverse spring route yet but we will be trying it on Radiance in 2016. I primarily like this direction because the at sea days are at the beginning and I usually need that time to unwind from work. That way I am rested for the islands. [emoji3]

Also the weather on this side of the ocean is usually nicer in September than April.

Thanks so much! We have never been to Hawaii before so I think this would give us a great opportunity to see highlights of each island. Can I ask what wifi package you got and how it has been? Thanks

I know I would not complain if I was on a cruise, but, taking in the size of different ships I have a question for you and Marie.

Once you have sailed the Oasis class ships do you find it difficult to cruise on the smaller ships as far as activities, exploring and things to do in general?

Thanks

And as always LOVE YOUR REVIEW

Safe travels.

I got the unlimited for one device. It was $189 for the 11 days but with a diamond discount it ended up $160.

We went on Allure in May 2013 and actually I find the reverse, it will hard to go back to such a huge ship. on the smaller ships we meet people and actually see them again from time to time. The crew also gets to know you or most at least try.

On Allure I felt like I was in a shopping mall, people walking by never to be seen again. Too much walking and waiting for elevators too

We are going back on one of the big ones (Oasis) but it is for the ports.

Sorry judging from what you wrote you must like the big ships so that is probably not what you wanted to hear. [emoji4]

An advantage of going the other direction is a shorter trip home after the cruise. We did it that way back in 92.

The post with the panoramic photo was much larger, causing the text to become smaller. The next page of this thread will revert back to normal.

Edit: since this is the next page of the thread you can see the text is back to normal.

Didn't realize that happens. I'll skip the panoramic pictures in the future. [emoji4]

Don't worry about me. I LOVE the look of a panoramic photo. I just stretch my iPad text to make it easier to read.

PS- I am subscribed for more of this great review.

Hi Bill!

Just caught up with you and Marie! Sounds like you are having a great cruise so far! Thanks for bringing us along!

We were in 8098 on the May reverse trip and LOVED our aft JS! We ordered the room service breakfast the first morning and ate it out on that wonderful balcony! The food arrived piping hot and delicious, I guess due to the cabin's close proximity to the kitchen stairs. After that, we were hooked and ate on the balcony eleven of our thirteen days!. If the weather's nice, you might want to try that option.

Again, thanks for the wonderful pictures and video so far! We are really enjoying your cruise along with you!

Mr Walton1,

Don't you worry about us. You are on the cruise not us. We are just thankful for all your postings and pics. I honestly don't know how you find the time to make all these posts, but I am sure glad you do.:)
