Pomperaugrr Posted September 19, 2014 #15 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Wait, if it is leaving in 2 days, shouldnt they be putting North star on soon? From the webcam it doesnt look like hey have started yet. Quantum of the Seas will moor for several days at Columbus Quay in Bremerhaven. There will be additional fitting out there, prior to sea trials. The Northstar will probably be added on there. That way there is less weight for the river conveyance. It will be a "relatively" simple matter to bolt on the arm and turret, add the observation capsule then connect, fill and test the hydraulics. hallasm Posted September 20, 2014 Author #22 Share Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Ems Conveyance of Quantum is Delayed The transfer of the quantum of the Seas is postponed at short notice because of the adverse weather and tidal conditions. Due to the unclear forecasts, there are several options, so that no new times has been published. The Ems Conveyance of Quantum of the Seas will begin no earlier than Sunday evening. Even a later time is possible. The decision is made by the transfer team at Meyer Werft on Sunday around noon.
