Solarium pool for kids?

Just wondering if kids are ever allowed in the solarium pool on Adventure of the Seas.

 

It's unlikely that it'll be warm enough to use the others during our cruise later this month and I thought that maybe in those circumstances they might allot a certain time when kids will be allowed in.

 

Not sure whether to tke dds swimsuit.

 

Anyone have any experience with this?

During certain itineraries, we have found that there is a small window of time for family/children swim. The times will be listed in the cruise compass.

We're doing France & Spain, given the temp in the UK already I'm expecting it to be pretty chilly.

A bathing suit takes no room...bring them, just in case!

Keep the solarium for the adults unless the weather is bad then give them a small window.

Actually, Adventure does not have a covered solarium like the Radience class ships, so kind of a moot point. The ships that do normally permit kids from about 12-2 pm.

RCI has always allowed children in the solarium if they are 16 up. Also they can come in to check in with parents or if there is a café to eat in

The deck plan says that the solarium can be covered during inclement weather by a large glass roof.

 

Is that info incorrect?

 

I read that thinking it would be essentially an indoor pool as I thought there would be glass walls already in place, but maybe it's only a roof and will be no good if it's too cold out.

That is wrong. It is open and just as cold as any other pool on the ship

No glass roof on any Voyager class ship's solarium. The Solarium and its pool will be the same temps as the other open areas of the ship.
