My friends and I had arranged to meet at the end of the Princess pier at 10am, so around quarter to 10, I made my way down to Deck 0 forward and exited the Splendor…..

There is a boardwalk that runs from our pier over to the Princess pier, making it easy to get there, and allow for some amazing views of the harbor. This is looking back at our pier from the boardwalk…..

I made it over to the Princess pier, and within a few minutes I was hugging my friends. Though two of them live a half hour from me in New Jersey, and we do get together from time to time, we hadn’t seen each other for a while. Our plan was to find the nearest bar / restaurant, and hang out for a couple of hours. We didn’t have to look far. The Harbour View Bar & Café was right on the boardwalk…..

Head up the stairs to the second floor for even a better view…..

Did your friends enjoy their Princess cruise? I agree, that is a nice looking ship.

My oldest DS and his girlfriend spent a week in Antigua in Aug. and enjoyed it a lot. You took some great pictures sailing in there.

Heather

They had a great cruise on the Royal Princess. It was a 10 day cruise with only 3 ports of call. Plenty of sea days!! More from Antigua coming up.

The Liner Pool and hot tubs look like they are starting to get busy…..

Feeling a little tired, I decided to head back to the cabin for a little nap, until it was time for the Royal Princess to sail. I went up to Deck 10 for a good view. One of the Cat Tours was coming back in…..

The Entrée presentation…..

CS794.JPG

My starter, the Portobello mushrooms. I had two of them.....

CS795.JPG

Followed by a Caesar salad, prepared tableside…..

CS796.JPG

For my entrée, I chose the spice rubbed rib eye, cooked medium…..

CS797.JPG

And for dessert, I had the caramelized Washington apples…..

CS798.JPG

I have to say, that initially I was uncomfortable coming to the steakhouse by myself, but the staff made me feel very comfortable, and minimized the wait time between courses. I think I was done with my dinner in less than an hour and a half.

Tonight’s show in the Spectacular Lounge was Vroom, which I had seen before many times. I chose to go to the casino and play some $25 blackjack. I didn’t fare so well. I was back in my cabin around midnight. Tonight’s turn down service…..
