Years ago we embarked at 26. But when the ship returned to Ft Lauderdale, we were way down in the freight docks -- almost halfway to Ft Lauderdale.

There were buses to take everyone to the garage if they had their cars parked there.

For those who needed a taxi -- like us -- we were taken to pier 27 -- a tiny building with very few taxis. It was a mess for us.

Disembarkation for the buses started very early and took forever.

Is that what you are worried about?

Yes! That happened only once and it was a nightmare. No one helped us. We were told to get in the taxi line then they only wanted fares to the airport. We finally just took over a waiting cab and loaded our bags and told him where to take us. Boy was he upset. Paid him extra even if he was ugly and rude to us. Would not like to go through that again. Will be on NA Feb. 8th.

POA lives there and can answer. I looked on GoogleMaps and it appears to be a gated community. Don't really know the answer.
