I see Carnival conquest has left Miami for Ft Lauderdale which will be her new home port. Left Miami at 12:30 and I think they have embarkation at 4:30 at Port Everglades.

Looks like she'll do a 180 in the turning basin and then back into #4 in front of Regal Princess

Schedule has her leaving at 9.

I imagine that the crew was working all the time between leaving Miami and coming to Ft Lauderdale.

I wonder if she took on supplies in Miami or if they will be loaded on in Ft Lauderdale?

I think departure is listed for 21:00. I expect stewards were also very busy on the transfer from Miami.

NO, I just know I'll be on her in three weeks. I think they did some port switching with the Freedom and Conquest and one other. Is interesting watching her berth, I don't usually get up early enough to see them come in/

Yes Father, Conquest will replace Freedom in FLL and Splendor will replace Conquest in Miami.

It's changing home ports. Discharged passengers in Miami and deadhead to Port Everglades. With PVSA it had to either do that or visit a distant foreign port.

Thanks rafinmd. I remember when a Hal ship deadhead from Seattle up to Vancouver once many years ago. Only reason I knew about it was we were friends with the piano player that was on board and he told us thats what they did. Wish I could remember what ship, I'm thinking it was the Zaandam.

POA, question please; That open field east of the 17th St bridge that's now showing on the SW (FL) cam, was there something (a structure) there before or has that been vacant for a while? Thanks!
