PathfinderEss Posted February 21, 2015 #127 Share Posted February 21, 2015 That's funny, I have a toy that I bought on a Hal ship that plays the same music that the Conquest was playing. Good toots from her today.

Rare rafinmd Posted February 21, 2015 #129 Share Posted February 21, 2015 I've had AIS on one tab watching for the Grandeur of the Seas to leave Baltimore. It arrived on time and was supposed to leave at 4, but is still there at 5:30. I'm guessing waiting for delayed flights. I did a little looking on the RCI forum and found this on the "All things Grandeur" thread. An unusual start to a cruise, but I'd still rather spend a day in the solarium than worrying about my flight getting out. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=45696917&postcount=84 Roy
Rare POA1 Posted February 21, 2015 #130 Share Posted February 21, 2015 That's what I got too. Well, the first 3 were really long, the 4th less so but still long. Roy The last one was a rather staccato blast. In person, it sounded like 7 or 8.

dfish Posted February 21, 2015 #136 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Despite what they did to Veendam's rear end, she was a good home to me for 17 days around South America/Antarctica - one of my favorite vacations of all time.

aliaschief Posted February 21, 2015 Author #140 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Big Lift with 2 yachts. Wonder how much they charge for weight to deliver those yachts. Two doesn't seem to be cost effective. Must be getting close to Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Must be kind of expensive I would think.

Rare POA1 Posted February 21, 2015 #149 Share Posted February 21, 2015 .......especially when you think they could sail them where ever rather than Big Lift them. The two on the starboard side were new deliveries. We couldn't tell about the port side ones. Gives a whole new meaning to "shipping & handling." aliaschief Posted February 21, 2015 Author #150 Share Posted February 21, 2015 MS Veendam looking beautiful and inviting. She took us to South America and Antarctica and need year from San Diego to Port Everglades. Anxious to sail on a smaller Dam ship.
