cbusoh Posted May 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2015 We tend to hit the pool area in late morning, get lunch and then maybe back to the pool but overall I find afternoons a bit boring, there are usually a couple of shows on sea days but other than that it seems not much is happening, just curious what others do to fill their time? Pumbaamd Posted May 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) Read book & take a nap on the balcony. If you have any business to do with Guest Relations, this is a good time to do it. Check your statement, get change, ask any questions about disembarking. Walk the different decks and check out the art work in the corridors. You'll be surprised to sea what you find. Paul65 Posted May 6, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) A few of the things we enjoy include: Taking a walk around the promenade deck if the weather is nice. Participating in a wine tasting or cocktail seminar, which tend to be on sea day afternoons. Finding a quiet spot to read or just watch the ocean. Activities like trivia and such that also tend to be common on sea days. If outdoor weather isn't great, touring artwork on different decks can be interesting. (I'm not much of a napper; I like to be doing something. :)) Edited May 6, 2015 by Paul65

sauvichick Posted May 6, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Nothing like relaxing in the pool areas when people start going back to their cabins to get ready for dinner. The sun is not as strong and it's quieter. Then we shop, get a snack on the way back, have a couple of drinks and then get ready. Boring? Never because there's so much time to relax. MagicNMe Posted May 6, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Grab a chair near the flowrider and watch the wipe outs! Otherwise I check out what's going on in the cruise compass. The combined efforts of my family make us a pretty good 'Name that Tune' team in Schooner, and sometimes there are fun demos going on.

PCWalton1 Posted May 6, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 6, 2015 I read either in the solarium, poolside or in the cabin/balcony. Marie either participates in afternoon poolside activities or naps.

Bookish Angel Posted May 6, 2015 #25 Share Posted May 6, 2015 45 minutes to an hour of fast walking with the sea as a companion makes for a great experience. If it is summmer, I walk in the morning and head to a shaded area to read in the afternoon.
