So far from what I've seen they show sold out before they actually pop up as available. Keep checking , its all you can do

I agree, that is why I posted that they just showed up as sold out. Typically they show sold out first, then they become available later.

They were available this morning around 5 am because someone posted it on another site. By 6am they were sold out. I think they will be available again soon. And hopefully the $100 cards too.

I see that the aarp website is showing $500 Carnival Gift Cards...showing sold out. Maybe they will be available soon because they weren't there earlier.

Good call! This morning they were showing $500 card available, but it showed sold out when you tried to check out. I didn't give up and was able to purchase my max allotment (& can't afford to try again tomorrow!)... just now. So, to my cruise critic friends...GO GET EM!!!!:D

$500 available right now.

The $500's are showing as available on Verizon Rewards also; but I don't even see the $100's listed, that's kinda strange. I just had to look to see if I could successfully resist buying this time, and I did for once:). The three cruises I have booked thru next March are all RCL & Princess; and I have over $600 in cards now:o.

For the AARP $500 cards, how soon did you receive them via UPS? A week or so?

Do I need to have someone at home to sign for them? Thanks in advance.

Usually in about a week. Some times the cruise gods smile on you and they come in 5 days, but don't count on it. I have got the cards both ways UPS and snail mail, I think it has to do with the amount purchased. I ordered 3 $100's last year and they came snail mail.

Every time I have received the $500 cards they have come via UPS and someone had to be here to sign for them. I have ordered less than $500 a couple times and they have always shown up in snail mail and I didn't need to sign for them. Any more when I order, I always order a $500 and then check them on the Carnival website to make sure they are good. It has never happened to me; but I have seen some posting saying others had gotten cards that were not any good.

Ordered a $500 card and $100 card on 4/28/2016. Received an e-mail the next day that said I needed to call and confirm my order within 72 hours or it would be cancelled. (My first order ever with them) I called and confirmed. They shipped them via UPS on 5/2/16 from Middleburg Heights, OH and I received them in Memphis, TN area on 5/4/16. Signature was required for delivery.

Applied them to by balance on carnival.com last night and they worked fine in that regard.

I ordered 5 $100 cards on 4/20. The next day I got a call to confirm the purchase and they arrived via UPS on 4/28, signature required. Funny thing is, 4/28 was the day my Carnival Casino Offer was to expire, and no one would be home. I created a UPS account and had them hold the package for me at the depot since I was going to be near it in my travels that day. Sure enough the cards were waiting for me, and I booked my cruise later that evening.

I figure today's purchase will show up next Friday or Saturday.

If you live in a neighborhood where there is no theft then you can set up a UPS account and sign for them online and they will leave them where you instruct to to...on porch, etc. Also, if you set up a UPS account you can have them hold them and you can pick them up.

This neighborhood is about as crime free as it gets. There are only 5 houses on this dead end country road and we all know each other, so a stranger sticks out like a sore thumb. If you are talking about the ‘UPS My Choice’ account; I looked into that last year when I was trying to get a package rerouted to my neighbor’s house because I was going to be out of town. It may work for others; but after reading the entire customer/user agreement and all the other agreements that are incorporated into it “by reference” I came to the conclusion that there were some things there I didn’t agree with; and as a result, I didn’t open a UPS account. I am retired; so I am normally here when a package is scheduled for delivery anyway. If I am not here for some reason; I can call and make arrangements to pick it up, once they have a failed delivery attempt.
